Perks of being 50 years old I remember watching the Dolphins vs New England game with my two brothers and we heard Howard Cosell announce John Lennon’s death. My brothers and I were in total shocked and we could not sleep. I remember like yesterday the three of us were on our respective radio dialing the AM stations hoping to find more news of John Lennon’s death. We caught WGN radio on AM in Chicago all the way in Dallas hearing more news of John Lennon death and I could not stop crying.

No he isn't......Howard Cosell was an attorney who pursued a sports broadcasting career. He was not a great or even good journalist.
