That's the Truth, check out A Quiet Place, I never get tired of it. She has her eyes, closed through most of the song. She's not down, here with this song, but with the Lord. I close, my eyes, with her, and go up to God and talk, to him with her. Somehow, I discovered that song, abt, 2 yrs, ago, and play, that one. Plus, All the Man, Live, with that , Red , Dress, she kills. it. I used to like the video, but this live, version with, her and Kirk Whalum, her Sax, man is the bomb. I've watched it abt, 35 times, or more . LOL She had those, sailors, hypnotised and , Cissy smiling, in audience , like . Did you hear, that, that's, my girl, their, I taught her well. Their is no other, like Whitney Houston. Point , Blank.

The thing about Whitney is EVERY damned word was given the full treatment. She was never lazy. She massaged every word in her lyrical diction. You can hear it in the annunciation and how she emphasized the ending of the syllables. It's actually amazing to watch it unfold. The listener was served up a banquet every time. In her prime she was untouchable. I lived through her glory years and sorry to say I took it for granted too often. Her 80s material would come on the radio in frequent rotation and while I knew I was listening to a special talent, I didn't know how truly rare it really was. Nothing has come close to it in almost 40 years. If you were around in those first 10 years of Whitney, consider yourself lucky.

Whitney Houston was a vocal prodigy. Her voice is the platinum standard of what all female vocalists should be. Whitney's rendition of the star spangled banner is noted by critics as being the definitive version of the national anthem in history of the song. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how awesome Whitney was. I love the way she sung live. She was the rare artist who could interpret a live vocal performance in a million different ways and make it sound better than the studio version. Her ability to play with melody was underrated genius. Listening to her sing was pure ambrosia. Whitney Elizabeth Houston was a "Tour De Force" and left an unmatched musical legacy. She will be remebered like Mozart, Beehtoven, Jimi Hendrix, Luther Vandross, just to name a few.

Si la misericordia de Dios es eterna, cubre multitud de pecados. Whitney, luchaba con todas las fuerzas, pero solo algo era necesario que entregara a Dios su causa. eric79boz I'm not trying to force my religion(Christianity) on you, but when you cry that may be the Holy Spirit speaking to your soul. If you don't mind me asking, why aren't you religious??? Mind You I don't like the word religous... I prefer to use the word spiritual

Jesus loves you my friend, don't think he will turn you away. Say a prayer and ask Jesus to come into your heart. Ask him to show you why it is that you cry everytime you watch this clip. I'm a guy and a Christian, that used to happen to me before I believed and even now sometimes I still cry at some songs or stories. I'm learing that sometimes we have hidden pain inside our hearts that we ourselves may not even know is there. Until something stirs it up. But God can fix it, if you be brave and let him.

You got that right! Whitney had the heart & soul, looks and voice of an angel. She was a true humanitarian and also cared a lot about animals and nature. If only this world had more people like Whitney, it would be much more beautiful and nicer to live in! Whitney Elizabeth Houston brought all songs she sang to a higher level. 👉 ✨✨ The highest Devine Level! ✨✨ *Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a once in human existence miracle/gift that must be cherished for our future generations to hear and see what true greatness and* *vocal divinity sounds and looks like!*

Carlos I couldnt have said it any better. Alot of people overlook the other part of why she was so Great..aside from her unsurpassed vocal ability Whitney had a stunning stage presence. the way she commanded her voice and sang with the harmony was masterful and something that will quite simply never be done again. At least not with that soul and passion.

True story. I will always love you had just come out. Me and my sister each bought a copy. We had to babysit a 3 mo old baby who was being breastfed. His mother was in an accident and was late picking him up and we had no more milk to give him. He started crying and it went on for like 15 minutes. One of us played I will always love you and he stopped crying. So we each got our copies and played them back to back for nearly 1 1/2 hrs. The baby never cried. We tested to see if some other singer would soothe him and he would start crying again. So we put I will always love you back on until his mother came to pick him up. As long as Whitney's voice was playing he never cried. That is when I understood the power of her voice.

The way she sung it no word can describe it. But when I see the way she was guiding that band and the backup singers... All the features converged with their singing and all, I'm just amazed! How someone could sit on that stage singing so angelically and at the same time guide so perfectly the background with so much simplicity and professionalism! This woman was definitely not from this planet, let's be honest.
