This deck really shouldn’t work but it does… Pain Warlock is so DUMB and GOOD!

Today we highlight some games of a recently emerging powerhouse of a deck in Pain Warlock that sees you reduce your HP to cheat out Molten Giants and Imprisoned Horrors to create huge board states early on that your opponent can't answer and win as fast as possible. The wins and losses are extremely fast so if you’re looking for a fast deck this might be for you.

There's a reason why the old developers nerfed molten giant to 25 mana, there's a reason why they removed almost all charge from standard, there's a reason they removed a lot of the toxic stealth cards from standard like conceal, yet the new developers keep adding these things back in. This expansion so far has been getting charge OTK'd by leeory, getting scammed by these decks trying to play multiple 8/8 giants by turn 4, perma stealth zilliax that you can't interact with unless you have very specific cards etc.

I really love using the fatigue package in pain warlock, since it's satisfying to Popgar/Crescendo back up to full health. It's not be quite as good as this version vs certain decks though.

Oh, this is the deck I faced yesterday. Yeah, turn 4 you know if you win or loose. Who would have known that vomiting stats, without taunt would still work. It feel a lot like facing Hand Lock from back in the day, but it only takes 5 turn less to know if you win or loose.

The only reason this deck works is cause Priest no longer has access to their insane board clears in Standard and Mage no longer has access to all of their face spam spells. All it takes is for a couple of Wild spells to make a comeback and to the gutter this deck goes.

A lot of hate for this deck but it’s actually the most respectable cheese deck I’ve seen. It doesn’t stall you out to eventually kill you from hand. It trades life for tempo and wins or loses based on that, and it does it fast.

It’s more honest aggro than most recent decks, yeah you cheat out big things but there’s a legitimate tradeoff in that youre a sneeze away from death. Shopper demon hunter was like for 7 mana cast 4 lightning storms and summon 14/12 of stats
