This is the Diablos vs Anjanath animation I'm pretty sure. To be honest, I've always figured it would've suited Diablos vs Jho better. Glad to see it used on Jho in some capacity, at least.

@@andrewcrowley6331 Yeah, it's kinda crazy in hindsight just how freaking strong Deviljho is. It's able to completely overpower Diablos's own massive Brute Wyvern-flipping strength dead in its tracks before then displaying even greater strength. Diablos is a creature that can fling creatures as large as itself (like Glavenus) over its back with ease, and yet it's completely helpless against the muscle power of Deviljho. Physics calculations of this Turf War suggest that if Deviljho had simply let go of Diablos instead of bringing it back down, the Flying Wyvern would've just gone flying through the air. Deviljho actually has to overpower its own momentum to stop this from happening to power-slam Diablos down on the ground, which speaks of even greater depths of strength. It's no wonder that this guy is considered Elder Dragon-Tier considering the sheer amount of muscle power it brings to power.

Neat to see some of my top favorite monsters meet and have a go at it even if it’s through a mod for now. Though I’d likely give this fight to espinas if it were a realistic scenario that or a draw, his venomous spikes would likely prevent him from getting manhandled compared to poor bazel.

I feel like regular Deviljho would infact not straight bite Espinas like he does with Diablos and Bazel. While he is voracious, it is far from "mindless". With Savage Deviljho instead I can see it not giving fucks about the spikes and attack Espinas as we see in the video

@@shrekonion7032 Yeah, but it's also fairly thin (for a monster) and can fly. Jho is denser than lead with the amount of mass and muscle on him, along with just his general body-shape being probably harder to lift and throw like with Kushala.

@@shrekonion7032 If you genuinely think Kushala is heavier than Jho, watch the Savage Jho vs Ruiner Nergigante turf war. Ruiner tried to attack him at the start and just gets fucking ignored. Ruiner can only do something when it gets momentum over him, which is also caused by Jho lifting him into the air just as easily as it would with like a fucking Kulu Ya Ku.

Logically it makes sense because the thorns & their poisonous properties make bites ill-advised, but Deviljho should still be able to slam Espinas half of the time. Give him both animations, or at least this animation for Flaming Espinas while he wins against regular Espinas

Doubt It,espinas has higher physical strength,poisonous thorns,abilty to fly,3 elemental fireballs and flaming has everything I named X10,so no,deviljho would get stomp by both of the espinas versions

Always thought there should be a way to make Turf wars more deadly for the Mons. Maybe you only get 1 monster part from looting them. but it would be way more fun to watch these 2 giant predators go at each other for more than 15 seconds and each taking 1 swing. Imagine watching these Giants battle to death in a epic 5-10 min fight while they chase each other over the map and only stop fighting when the Player decides to take actions and attacks one.

These monsters are of the same class, lore-wise, but the turf war seems to favor Espinas. Let me put it to you bluntly: Deviljho suplexes Diablos in their turf war, there is _no way_ Espinas is doing anything but getting ragdolled in a physical contest like this, it _absolutely_ needs to use its debilitating breath attack to match Deviljho physically, or it's lunch. Deviljho's strength is what makes it an Elder Dragon-level threat, no other monster of equal class can match it using purely physical adaptations, they're going to need every tool they have at their disposal.

If an elder dragon as strong as Ruiner Nergigante can't even move Savage Deviljho until it has to literally pry its jaws off of him with his arms, I don't realistically think an Espinas is strong enough to pull this off lol edit: mb didn't see it was Flaming Espinas lol. Flaming Espinas would probably kill a regular Jho, but Idk if it's really strong enough to do what it does here, especially considering what Jho does to Diablos.
