I have this watch it is awsome , I own TAG , Oris , Hamilton , Tissot and loads of Seiko Divers .This has become a favorite, not my most expensive or accurate watch, but it is getting lots of wrist time

Beautiful watch.. the only downside is the accuracy of its 6r35 movement.. you can get chronometer grade movement with same amount of money for some entry level swiss brands.

Nice. Agree about the box. I actually would not care, but they don’t even protect the watch inside during travel, which is the minimum basic requirement for a box. (At least they do not protect the watch if they’re not repacked perfectly, which the rushed idiots at eBay authentication don’t do.)

It's not like boxes are super important to me but it annoys me that they cut corners with the packaging and then charge you 1400 bucks. Even my marinemaster came in the same box 🤷🏼‍♂️

You're absolutely right, Ivan. On camera this watch doesn't look as good as it looks in real life. The case shape isn't my cup of tea, but the dial is really amazing. At the full price I wouldn't buy it, but with a good discount it would be a great piece in a collection.

Yes nice. But $1300 for this movement? No thank you. That misalignment at 5 'o clock is very bad. Add another 200-300 USD and buy a Maurice Lacroix Aikon, Frederique constant highlife COSC or a Oris Aquis. My 2 scents Also Seiko is not being manufactured in Japan anymore. But in India, Pakistan etc.

Seiko boxes are purchased by sellers separate from the watch so they buy by volume. The nicer leatherette boxes cost more, and the special branded boxes with places for extra straps and/or strap changing tool cost even more, so many sellers do not choose them. Prospex branded boxes are less versatile than generic Seiko boxes so many sellers prefer to only buy generic Seiko boxes. Grey market sellers sometimes receive their Seikos with a box but the box design is dependent on what the original authorized dealer was comfortable purchasing. Grey market sellers can also buy Seiko boxes in bulk and like authorized dealers (sometimes they are both) they will try to keep as much of their already slim margin as possible.
