I did this type of work for about 6 years. Worked for a company here in Houston that was racking 20 mill a year. The 100 temp ppl he claims are ppl from temp agancys that dont even know how take out a nail. I know it, we used to use hundreds of them when we would need help.

Water restoration is insanely profitable. Fan rentals. Dehumidifier rentals. Emergency service charges. If you can get a call after hours on a holiday you're getting insane rates for every little option and since it's water damage and needs to be taken care of ASAP they have to pay it. Mold damage is more expensive than water.

The show butchers all the prices of the cars. That Range Rover SC is a 2008-2010 model probably worth 30,000. The Bentley an 06 worth $45-60,000. The Mercedes AMG is a 2013 $65,000, the Phantom Drophead is a 2009 roughly $180,000. The show puts the price they would cost brand spanking new off the showroom floor. 3 million a year profit, for likely many years is more than enough to easily swing 300-350k in cars if that's what he wants and doesn't have a family or wife to take care of. As far as hardhat and vest looking brand new. Well if I was going to be on national TV I wouldn't mind spending $20 to wear a new set.

If his employees make less than $18 a hour then I don't like the guy. He will be counting pennies again soon with the way he blows his money. Wish him the best of luck as long as he pays his employees well which I doubt.
