Dragon Ball isn't even much of a story-based show. Dragon Ball was originally a martial arts show that developed different story arcs after them and that gained fame through the readers loving that style of simple but effective storytelling. But One Piece truly gas impeccable storytelling and worldbuilding that can almost be unrivaled to none. Remember, unlike Oda the late Toriyama used to forget things. I love both series for what they both deliver in their own way.

I don't understand why people are ignoring the fact that he had a crew. VP just revealed a little information because he also does not know more. The kings were not warriors for sure and there were queens too (Nefetari D Lilli). And we know only a handful of celestial dragons can actually fight. Look at the eyes of Gear 5 and Imu. They both share the same red spiral eyes. Imu surely was stronger than Joyboy.

And whats even crazier is that the calm belt is a literal thin line compared to the rest of the world of One Piece So literally some of the bigger Sea Kings in One Piece that are 5000 meters are too big to fit in most of the ocean on Earth. And their are literal hundreds if not thousands of them There's also the uncountable sky islands which for some reason there seems to be a sea in the sky in some locations as well that also harbors many giant creatures Marco's states in the manga that there are around 10 to 20 million islands. Whether its true or not well probably never know, however Marco is also stated to have studied navigation and is the doctor and navigator of the Whitebeard pirates. His vivre card confirms this Zunesha is 35,000 meters long yet it looks like ant compared to the rest of the world. If Zunesha was real it would've been seen by a lot of people since it's height is where comercial planes fly Then there's the many country size islands that look small in the grand line Drum Island is a country that has 5,000 tall mountains. Which Luffy climb while carrying 2 people with his bare hands. Luffy literally climb mount Bona ,cold injured while also carrying 2 people Alabasta is also a country. It's Sandora River is 30 miles long and it's a thin line on the Alabasta map. The sand dunes are 300 meter tall which are mountain size and the straw hats climbed over hundreds of them in extreme heat Skypeia is also a country with many islands around it. Dressrosa is also a country via Viola's 4000km statement. Which sounds crazy but it's still there. Her point of view sees upbtill the horizon line however she cannot sense the battle on Greenbit which is next to Dressrosa. And If you use Pica's point of view in his golem form you can see that Dressrosa is a lot bigger than what many people believe it to be Wano is also a country stated as well This proves that One Piece is bigger than Earth by a longhsot. @19:30 I do agree that joy boy has access to the ancient weapons but I strongly disagree with you on joy boy being the ones to use the weapons. Luffy is the closest thing to the old joy boy and Luffy didn't want anything to do with the ancient weapons in wano. The ancient weapons fell into the hands of imu and the kings from the betrayal from zunesha and the robot. Joy boy isn't the type of guy to have such intent on using the ancient weapons as a weapon, I believe he had a more peaceful purpose for these weapons and the 20 nations wanted those weapons for their own might.

I think Luffy is both Nika and Joyboy. For the first time in History, both the spirit of a God and the spirit of Joyboy have combined. Thats why Roger was too early, he had the spirit of Joyboy but didnt have the ability to stretch or anything. This would make sense as to why Luffy is the PERFECT man for this generation. Shanks knows, and the Gorosei know. But, Luffy, the strawhats and many others dont.
