I was fortunate enough to play their latest beta build and so far the controls alone is already better than DOD but lets be honest thats not difficult to do also love how the dragons feel weighty but responsive to control tbh they almost look as if their pulled out of monster hunter if not design wise then how they are animated. Also love how each dragon is going to have its own place in the eco system like the isle and something DOD completely failed to do.

The developers for this game are all delightful and transparent with how they want their game to be and how they're doing it. That's more than what most company's do these days and they're not even monetizing it in some backhanded way either... If you've ever questioned about signing up for a patreon or supporting a game to be... I can't say well enough just how much I think Wings of Dawn deserves it. They stream their progress in the discord, on twitch, on youtube, and openly talk to their community 1on1. The patreon at most let's you get the demo so far with the wyvern tier ($20 USD and only even has to be once if you're feeling strapped for cash to support and want to go down to $6 or something better for you) but every tier includes getting to see content early behind the scenes which also ends up being released for free as well for everyone to see. Obviously, take care of yourself first and do what is in your best interest but if you've ever felt like you could or wanted to, I recommend this game. Wings of Dawn absolutely has potential.

well dod has beat us there they have already had their 1.0 release but we intend on catching up although our games only have dragons in common.

Wings of Dawn will probably get really fun once it releases and if you managed to enter a server with a huge amount of players, I can imagine hordes of human players going around cutting trees, mining rocks/gems and building structures until some of them start forming a whole town which eventually turns into a city. And maybe some servers might even have some rules that allows Dragon players to co-operate alongside human players and if enough of that starts going around, I can see some Clan Wars or Faction Wars happening that can involve a huge battle with both Dragons and Humans players fighting each other and side by side.

we currently only work of patreon funding which is around £15k this year so we would require real funding to even get to a stage where we would say okay its release time , we do have an upcoming indiegogo in march which will help us reach the kickstarter for additional funds. So a full release is more likely 2026 - 2028 depending on the funding amount.

I semi don't really get your points with the bob tales TLC's for ark? Yes its shitty that some stuff in there should just be in the base game by default. But what is in there is def worth the price, and the new additions it offers I wouldn't necessarily say the creactures in there are pay to win 🫳 Cosmo is just a neat shoulder mount Oasisaur is not really all that busted when u likely already have spare lvl 200 rexes back at base :/ The armadogo (or wtvr its called) Seems its gonna be the most busted but will have to see on that, its still likely a giga or anything else will still be better

@halfslyced yeah your right. Def and industry issue that plagues too many games :/ I personally give ark a pass sense it hasn't effected me that much as a ark player, and knowing that wild card almost went bankrupt so they actually needed the money xd
