Hi! Im an artist myself and hearing your advice was just so helpful. Im almost 19 and the biggest mistake I made as an artist was just pushing myself really hard to keep getting better so id get more followers and praise for my stuff. Im in love with your art styly and have been placing myself on a journey to reteach myself how to draw and render at shorter amounts of time. It is sad how to internet tells and expects artists to be really well when they're younger when art is meant to be a journey for anyone to partake in. Also I really love your drawing of ironmouse! Thank you very much! Although this is just the first video I’ve watched by you, this video has actually inspired me to draw. Man, I love your style! They all look great. I’d like more long-form content from you, it feels chill and it’s definitely well edited for a first time. One thing that always surprises me whenever I watch your stuff is how polar opposite our styles are, yet how my view on art is the same as yours.. I’ve been drawing for roughly 6 years, give or take. Yet, my art is so opposite to yours… No lineart, soft shading.. I never struggled with colours and got the hang of them really early on, yet I can’t seem to nail lineart even after 6 months of doing it… So I gave it up. My drawings are completely dictated by the colour schemes, but yours are by ink. I still feel so inspired every time I see your drawings to work even harder! I just felt like pointing it out, I’m a big fan of your stuff and really appreciate you. Lot’s of love!!
