Short explanation: The 4 teams who got into the semi finals during the Interhigh tournament (Seijo, Shiratorizawa, Johzenji who we just saw, and another team we will see later) are seated, which means they don't have to play in the "preliminaries" like Karasuno did. At the end it just means that they join the bracket later and have to play less games than the other teams
