I sell more flatware in the month of November than all other months combined. People want to complete their sets for Thanksgiving and Xmas dinners. January is pretty good too, I think people realize they are missing pieces during the holidays.

Great video! I'm an everything seller, but flatware is one of my true loves. I do things almost like you do in terms of research and shipping. However, i do label everything once I've done my research. I put listed flatware in a ziplock bag with an index card of info. I store all bagged flatware in shoeboxes! I've found that full shoeboxes are not too heavy for me. I've sold many high end pieces, but the low priced ones move faster. Sometimes the newer patterns sell super quick because folks just need replacements, or to expand their set. Around me the thrift stores still price flatware quite low.

Me too, I just hate when the thrift store throws them all in a big tub! I usually don't dig when they have them set up like that.
