I really like these. But top speeds I've seen swing wildly from barely 40 to your 48. I think that's pretty awesome. I put a little doggie crate on the bottom there so I could take my pup with me to run errands

The top speed for the 2,000 watt version of this bike, which is the most common, is 37 mph. You must have a 3,000 watt. The 4,000 watt version is the only one that is supposed to do 50+mph. This can't be the 4,000 watt because that one only comes through in black with a large bulge built into the lower platform to accommodate the larger 72v battery. Which one is this? Is the speedometer in kph or did you mod it? I had one of these and sold it because the best I could get get 37mph unless going down a huge slope and even then I only hit 40mph

Just cause you can charge a Tesla in the middle of the desert doesn’t mean that the installation vehicles or service vehicles are electric. Also, I don’t think you understand how deep the pockets of the oil tycoons are, they aren’t going to just allow fossil fuels to quote being used. Not to mention no one has made an electric vehicle with any sort of reliable range under load. It’s not caveman talk, it’s being realistic.
