The machine is nice, I run a 6 Barudan and a 4 head SWF, and I can tell the difference between the two also. I did notice the two designs are digitized different though. The blue ones text is digitized a hair wider and the fill stitch is at a different angle, the yellow one has more density to the fill stitch too which looks way better that way imo.
@GeraldineBrown-nb3ts Жыл бұрын
I agree as an experienced digitizer I can tell the tatami on the blue design doesn’t have underlay and has less density, the yellow one has a pattern , also the angle of the stitching is different, so they are not the same design . But I agree the Tajima makes good work .

I bought the TMEZ because I wanted the position alignment system (PAS). That feature sold me. The SWF is a fine machine. It now has everything including automatic tension that the TMEZ has. I talked with the manager at the head office and asked how well it sewed 60 weight thread. He had never tested that but he ordered the needle and thread and emailed a picture. The local sales representative had me visit with the owner of an embroidery business which had a 4 head and the newest single head SWF that I was considering. I actually liked the display better but I like to be as exact as possible with placement. Only a camera, which is in some home embroidery machines, can top the PAS. Oh, I think a company did come up with a camera as an add on.

@@leestuart38 That is the major issue with metallic thread, you get this knots because how the thread comes from the spool, the thread wind's around his self. There are thread stands that spins around how the thread goes from the spool and therewith less knots and less thread breaks.

I have the Tatami SAI, (8 needles) and it stitches wonderful. I never have to change the tension except on 12 weight thread. Hats come out great too. This brand is excellent on very small letters. I'm a small home business but I have done up to 49 hat which I used both 40 & 60 weight thread, without one thread break. I am really thinking of getting the TMEZ to get a larger embroidery field. SWF just came out with an auto tension and pressure foot too. So on paper, looks like the TMEZ only advantage is the position alignment feature which will cost me an extra 10K.
