I was thinking something similar, hovercraft racing with EMP, but as a very high speed (200-300mph) race on the sky donut racecourse. Mostly because losing control at that kinda speed would be catastrophic.

here's a mad EMP race idea: hovercraft subs, if you fall behind/sink, you can use the sub parts to get you back on the surface and hover the rest of the way or until you fall again, imagine an EMP from under you, wouldn't that be fun?

i feel like once a video is over, the really cool vehicles made get thrown away, and i really like some of your old builds. you reuse your favorite or best builds either from MM or one of videos. you could pit an all purpose transformer against a rapid fire rocket plane. this can be redone with different themes like recycled planes, recycled cars, recycled battle bots. not restricted to trailmakers, but i do see SM gearing towards that nowadays. makes sense tbh. more ongoing updates and versatility

Ideas for more EMP races, mix and match to your liking: - vehicles use 2 hover pads and 2 wheels - cars must carry upward max power thrusters on the back bumper (alternative: max power helicopter servo) - thrust only allowed from two forward thrusters, that must be horizontally separated by at least 6 units - cars carry a rear facing rocket with auto aim, but that cannot be fired by the driver (but what happens if an EMP hits it....) - all wheels must have steering hinges - all vehicles must use steering-hinge-based suspension instead of normal suspension

Day 8 of: I've got 3 ideas for you, 1: Player 1 builds a plane with wheels on the tips of the wings. Player 2 makes a runway with two lanes and a gap in between. Then land the plane on that runway. 2: Build a plane which can transform into a submarine upon contact with the water (like, wings turn in and stuff). 3: Test yours and your friends building skills by turning animals into a vehicles (maybe multiple animals per person but that might be too time consuming). Points for form and points for function

Boats, but you have to use the inflatable blocks only for buoyancy so the EMP can deflate them possibly and make you sink. Could do the same with subs and they make you float to the surface. Basically make anything that you NEED to use a "movable" part to have the vehicle operate that the EMP could mess with.

The "Do not touch me!" race. Three sensors on land-based vehicles, one on each of the 4 directions. You have one side SAFE to approach other drivers and try to trigger these sensors. On triggering, it just detonates explosives with a 10 second timer. Infinite repairs until you're payload has detonated. Plot point; sensors are added either AFTER showing off, or you don't show off your builds. Secret sensor locations!

I think I was subscribed to this channel for at least a year before I realised that the others in the multiplayer videos had channels. I think I first though about it when I started getting videos in my feed of Trailmakers multiplayer things that gave me a slight deja vu despite the video being just published. And then I realised I was being given the same multiplayer session from different viewpoints. And then I subscribed to most of the other channels too. I must admit I rarely bother to watch the same session from all viewpoints, particularly the destruction derby and other kinds of challenges where everyone is in the same area most of the time so the multiple POV's don't contribute much, I'll just watch one of them; either the first one to get published and appear in my feed; but I enjoy watching the building part of the video from multiple channels. I'm not particularly interested in competition neither competing myself or watching others compete, so I often just watch the building segment and skip part or most of the competition. (That's also how I follow motorsport IRL, the only sport that somewhat interests me; I'm much more interested in the engineering than the racing itself; so I watch much more videos _about_ motorsport than actual motorsport competitions.) But for this one I think I'll watch all the videos all the way through! Too much chaos to see everything in just one viewpoint.

EMP race suggestion: 2 v 2 EMP tank battle race. You use tanks with 1 person controlling driving the tank and the other the turret (full 360 degree rotation and not just front). Can do it where you swap roles for a 2nd race and if need be there will be a 3rd race if there's a tie in the 2nd round (who gets what is either up to you to decide or you flip a coin with one for those coin apps to determine driver/turret controller for the last round if both players want the same role). To spice things up add in some TNT into the tank as well for rng emp based explosions.

Bigger vehicles can spread out the parts that would mess you up badly when emp hits meanwhile smaller vehicles are harder to hit but emp blast radius takes out everything when it hits

race idea: a plane race with emp luanchers but the twist (optional) is if you fall out of the sky you lose and have to be a hostile plane that tries to take out the other racers, racers can only have 1 emp but the enemy can have 2 making it more harder if someone gets taken out kinda like every time someone dies they become one of the enemie

can we get an experiment to show us how exactly the EMP works?id like to know if they work off of a random generator on which controls get effected. for example, if you put 20 extra controls (like lights or something) on one creation, will the EMP effect a certain percentage of controls or a specific number of them? if just a specific number or just the ones hit directly by the EMP then you could give a bunch a red herring for the EMP to take control of letting you win races easier.

Empty boats races with buoyancy blocks having controls so that they can sink and inflate when struck with only underwater engines for turning. Similar rules of only going x amount of mph but I can be as big or small as you want to make it.

Derpicycle emp racing a derpicycle is a unicycle with no stabilization although these derpicycles do have stabilization but you can only use it if you fall over or if you in 3rd or 4th place you have to balance yourself if your in first or second logic that automatically puts right side up when you fall completely over is allowed by the distance sensors must be set to 0.1 - 0.5 meters to ensure it only activates when you fall over

i want - no NEED - more mayhem and chaos. so, how bout get rid of the limitations you could pit a max complexity, 99 power core tank with armor plating throughout and 60 shields vs a tiny 4 power core vehicle with glitches galore. as a debut you could have a free for all on danger island. one person on each corner. you just fly, drive, hover - whatever you want. then, whoever is still alive by the, is crowned the victor. then branch off with all the other game modes. im talkin dog fights, battle bots, team battles etc. MORE CHAOS. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD.

I think you could do this easily with submarines, boats, or motorcycles. I don’t think planes would work as any hit would just result in a crash. You could also do it on dune or something like that to add a gravity gimmick for more chaos
