Thank you Taki for this deep dive on the Pocket 4 Pro. If it were any deeper people would confuse it with the Mariana Trench. It's obvious that a ton of work went into making this video. Unfortunately for me, I watched and commented under the First Look video a few days after it was published. I assume most of this video was already recorded by then because not a single one of my amazing game recommendations made the cut. Maybe I just have terrible taste in games? Ha. Anyways, the one I cared about most was/is "WRC: Rally Evolved" for the PS2. It was Sony and Evolution Studios' rally game swansong and by all accounts they went out on top. My current Snapdragon 845 powered LG phone, the best gaming anything I own at the moment, can't run it well at all. If the Pocket 4 Pro could run it full speed at 1X resolution that would help sell this system to me. Does anyone know how well it'll run here? A semi off topic question: My understanding is that all versions of the Pocket 3 and 4 series use third party iPhone 8/SE2/SE3 screens. Would a factory first party Apple screen be a plug-in-play upgrade for the Pockets 3 and 4? I'm asking because it's not that hard to find older mainline iPhones and newer SEs for sale dirt cheap that have good screens, but are otherwise inoperative. Or is this one of those things where even if it works it quite literally won't make a difference?

Hey Taki! Great video can’t wait to get my hands on my RP4 pro. Just a quick question with twilight princess on the GameCube you think with the right settings I’ll be able to play the entire game at a solid 30 fps with minimal skips and dips? Seeing you play it at hyrule with the cheat code and getting 19 fps really is a let down. I’m wondering because I’ve seen another video and they were getting 30 fps. You think there’s hope for that?

The rest of the game will be at 30, but the field runs like that.

@@TakiUdon Thank you for the reply! hmm its interesting though because the rp3+ its possible to get 30 fps in hyrule field, i might have to do a lot of research lol. Thank you Taki, Great videos keep up the great work!!

Can it emulate PS2 Ace Combat 0,4, & 5 well? They've been notorious for being difficult to emulate, especially 4.

Can you try how does the RP4 works with an external display ? can it show the native resolution of the monitor (let's say 1080p) while the screen of the device is off ?

I hope we get an AYN Odin Lite 2 with this chipset for $249. The RP4 just looks to small for me. I usually have wrist issues when gaming on small devices. Had to buy a grip for my Switch.

Odin 2 base snapdragon 8 gen 2 is 10x power for $299 !! Is crazy man , buy odin 2 base

@@elisons The AYN page no longer has the Base option available to order, but good to know. It might be worth the upgrade or wait for the Odin 3? I always get FOMO when there are releases

It's so damn close to perfection, if ONLY the left stick was on top it would be perfect for me. Here's hoping for a revision.

Absolutely, yeah. It's the way it should have been, since this is mainly for GC, Wii and PS2.

I noticed a lot of graphical issues popping up in your GameCube section and was wondering if this is due to Android or if it was just your Dolphin settings? Would love to see another follow up video of your impressions after a month.

Thanks for the deep dive video! Although they weren’t the main focus of the video, does this also play SNES, NES, and DS games perfectly?

It's here boys, what everyone has been asking for many years.
