The reason ekko wasnt hit by the sky tendrils: you can see 3 tendrils making their way into the interior of the hexgate where ekko, jinx and vi are, each for one of them. But jinx evaded the one that was meant for her. When vander grabbed her, the third tendril that was menta for ekko, attaches to her instead of him. Which in turn gave him the chance to do his thing :)

And to be a complete bad ass and sacrifice herself for her sister (like her protégée did in episode 6) makes her character arc that much more legendary and endearing, in my opinion. So, shout out to Fortiche having the balls to kill off main characters. Everyone can b*tch and complain all they want, but this series is an absolute classic in my eyes.

The green thingies on her right arm are an item in the game even (got introduced like beginning of last season iirc?). They absorb magic of every kind and have to be recharged from time to time by being heated in a fire. Thats also how she blocked caitlyns sniper shots from the tower since Cait used a hextech rifle, which is also magic essentially. Imagine if she used a normal rifle :( would have gotten ambessa on the first shot probably ^^

The arcane producer say (in a interview in youtube, Necrit channel) that jayce, viktor, heime, warwick and jinx are all alive, jinx scape from the explosion, u can see in the explosion frame and Cait was reviewing the site plans and saw that there were ventilation ducts. And Warwick has said that he is still fighting between human and wolf and that we will possibly see his real form as Warwick from the game

Caitlin also looks at the schematics of the shaft she fell in and saw vent ducts she could have escaped to and lastly in episode 1 Powder says that one day she would ride in a blimp like the one we see flying away in the last frame of the series. story-wise we should see her again in the Dematia arc since she has friends from there in League.

She was screaming in pain when she removed her left gauntlet which suggest that her left arm/shoulder has heavily injured. Which in turn begs the question. Is someone with a potentially broken arm really climbing anywhere, especially with no assistance since jinx was on the other side of the ledge? And even if she wasnt wounded, can you blame her for wanting to take one look at, what used to be ,her father figure throughout herlife that she never really got to say goodbye to? Ngl I found it really annoying how (I'm assuming its) Rice kept being soooo confident about random assumptions despite clearly knowing very little about the LoL universe beyond the champions in the game several years ago. Like when he assumes being Ambessa means Mel is now ruler of all of Noxus. People who have never even played league of legends and watched this show could understand what her dying meant better than that. At no point did Ambessa claim to be the ruler of noxus, so no, Mel will not be the ruler of noxus, she will however take over from Ambessa as the commander of her families troops. Another example is when he was dead certain in the last episode that the first transformed guy that Jayce and Mel fought was on top of the tower in ep.7 instead of Jayce. Like that made absolutely no sense whatsoever, and that was clearly Jayce's hammer. it didn't even look CLOSE to alike. And when he was clearly proven wrong since it was destroyed, not a word about being wrong. Don't think I'll be watching this channel again personally.

Jinx isnt supposedly dead, theres multiple hints towards it during the episode also from all the way s1. Heimerdinger sacrificed himself in order to get Ekko back into their reality, or at least it looked like he exploded like the one inventor (when ambessa tried to use hextech without Jayce and Viktor) when powder came down. Also I dont know if you noticed how it ended exactly like in the dimension Jayce was. Jayce kneeling on the tower with his hammer like in the other dimension.

As I've previously mentioned, all of those teasers, collectively, are proof that she isn't dead. That's the point of including them. It's a staple of this show that screen time isn't wasted on anything meaningless. They had to leave bread crumbs for it to be believable that she escaped. "Breaking the cycle" didn't mean Jinx had to die, she just had to get away in a fashion where Vi wouldn't keep trying to pursue her and bandage her life back together, making Vi miserable in the process. It was Jinx's way of explicitly showing what she said in S2E8 in the prison scene about how Vi should be able to move on with her life.

3 total shows is a rumor that spread from articles misquoting one of the directors during a livestream. What was all but confirmed was we have one Arcane-level show in production. My speculation is lore wise it makes sense for it to cover the Noxus and Ionia war. We are likely to see Demacia as a side region similar to how Noxus was a side region in Arcane.

While I understand the show is called "Arcane" and not "Jinx & Vi", I feel like the showrunners got a bit lost in the sauce in season 2. We left season 1 with a (mostly) grounded and beautifully crafted story about mental health, found family and the disparity between classes. Then season 2 kind of devolved into a bunch of magic lights and gibberish and like 3 different villains they had to wrap up in like- one and a half episodes because they wrote themselves into a corner with this 3 Acts gimmick. I feel like all storylines got little to no closure and some storybeats led literally nowhere. For example what even happened with Ambessa, Mel and Black Rose at the end? Why waste time building up Jinx, Sevika and Isha as a post-Silco "found family" trio if that gets COMPLETELY abandoned in the last act? Isha is genuinely NEVER mentioned again and Sevika and Jinx don't even interact after episode 6. I also wish Vander & Silco's ideologies had a part to play this season, since all their fantastic dialogue doesn't amount to much in these 9 episodes. I enjoyed the season for what it was and I don't regret waiting 2-3 years for it. They delivered on spactacle and scope, but fell short on bringing back the essence of what made the first season stand out. The animation, voice acting and score were exceptional. I simply wish they didn't overextend narratively as much as they did and stuck to what made season 1 such a timeless piece of media. Feel free to express your own opinions and/or disagree with me! Jinx is most likely alive, as is Vander/Warwick, if you pay attention, before the explosion there was a flash of shimmer, which is usually shown in the series, to depict Jinx's superhuman abilities, so Vander/Warwick most likely allowed her to escape into one of the vents, plus Caitlyn scene confirms this, plus the series ends where it begins, with the flight of the airship, which Jinx promised to ride someday, which she stated at the very beginning of the show, and Vander/Warwick is alive purely due to his insane regeneration abilities. And in general, all this is sad, this final scene with these three breaks my heart 😭
