Reminder that 1- Bondrewd, along with all other White Whistles is still considered a hero on the surface, as all White Whistles are for their discoveries. And thats fucked up! Bondrewd specifically though seems to be regarded for his discoveries from his title of "Sovereign of Dawn", as in, bringer of light aka knowledge. At least thats my interpretation. 2 - Even through all that, Ozen's rudeness and Bondrewd's cold methods, it is LYZA that gets the title of SOVEREIGN OF ANNIHILATION and a display on the town's fair as her standing beside a pile of dead bodies

Yeah, the movie cuts out Habo's debriefing to Nat & Shiggy to save run time, but it does explain why he has the titles he does. The Guild is fully aware of and supports what he does (and it's apparently such an open secret that Habo doesn't bother hiding it from the boys, unlike some other things he keeps secret) and actually respects his complete destruction of tradition, ethics, and morality in name of discovering the truth of the Abyss, as he does what even most other Cave Raiders would balk at doing and has advanced the exploration of the abyss and living conditions of those above more in 10 years than has been done in centuries prior. He brings the dawn of a new age of discovery and exploration of the Abyss (Soverign of Dawn), while always pushing the limits of new discoveries without letting anything else get in the way (The Novel).

I think Nanachi doesn’t necessarily dislikes physical affection, but: 1. They just kind of shy about it 2. It reminds them about their lost friend…

9:45 I thought same before, but nah, that’s wrong, they are not from Abyss, not even from Orth- but totally different countries

Oh and, when you do watch Dawn of the Deep Soul, be wary of new terminology or lore. The author's writing style has always been like this, dropping little bits of introguing knowledge in seemingly casual phrases with little explanation you are supposed to piece together, like the talk of Reg being an "Aubade" meaning a an amalgamation of Relics with never-seen before purpose, so valueable or with such dangerous implications that The Guild wouldn't even record its existence and just disappear it. Or those stories Ozen told the kids about the seventh layer's "ring of light" etc..m just stuff that will keep coming back and adding up to your total knowledge of the world. Personally, its some of my favorite styles of writing, and can be very prevalent on the movie if you dont have your eyes and ears open and attentive

The first half of the episode is like repeated punches to the gut. We desperately needed levity in the latter half. Also, Nanachi is shipping them so hard.

One tip for the movie and your reaction to it: there are 3, because the first two are summaries of Season 1, BUT movie 1 has a new extra scene at the start with Lyza, and movie 2 has an extra exclusive scene following up with Bondrewd after he sees Mitty's light turned off. The actual entirely new movie is the Dawn of the Deep Soul one. I highly recommend you watch those scenes with us!

Yup, beginning of the first movie and ~1:41:24 in the second one
@Zillatain Жыл бұрын
The Lyza scene from the first movie is nice, but not that important. The Bondrewd one is merely a teaser for the 3rd movie, containing something that you find out in that movie. Honestly I think it ruins the reveal in the 3rd movie.

Gezz that moment made me uncomfortable the way Riko touches bunny girl. Riko is 12 years old! Why is she doing stuff like this?! :(

Nanachi always refeered himself as gender neutral, but you can see he was a boy on his flashback (a very ambiguous looking). It goes without saying that he doest cover his chest with his clothes.
