What you need in order to get those cool turbo blowoff sounds is actually a new intake and a stage 1 tune(for more boost). I just did both of these things to my 2008 wrx and it makes a huge difference in both sound and performance.

On scubbies, if you do Intake and exhaust upgrades you will have to dyno tune the pcm to make up for the new amount of new air into the engine or you will run your engine lean, which mean the engine can go BOOM !!!

Nick, I think you can try putting some sort of protective covering on the underside of the car. It's usually made out of hard plastic or aluminium. It should help stop your exhaust or whatever rusting.

Blow off valve really has no benefit, if you don't tune for it it will make your car run rich, the stock bpv is fine, get a cobb SF intake and that will make all the noise you need.

Pro Tip to learn how to start moding. Buy a cheap $500 Truck and make it cool. Sure through a few thousand $s at it, but you learn a lot. I bought a 1992 F150 work truck and eventually modded it so much we did a 5.8 Swap and a 5 speed swap. Cheap and its okay if you screw up on it

Unfortunately with the full/turbo back its F..ing loud, so loud it was not legal, even for club track days here in Oz....... So I sold my cat back and put the standard one back on. Most of the power comes from the turbo back/dump pipe anyway so I still have the power that came from the flash tunes. Now its a bit louder than standard, but goes much better than standard.

I put a gauge with 35psi and and a twin turbo with a fart maker and some 18 inch Volk wheels and a really good intake on my 2005 Mitsubishi evolution equals 760HP I looked and a top speed of 201mph and on my BMW M5 I have 800HP and top speed of 210mph and a drivetrain swap AWD and I thinking of putting some bigger tiers and racing headers

since you dont go far up the rev range you should think about swapping out the turbo for a supercharger since they are more for use at lower rev ranges and you will be able to use it more of the time
