really need to replace your long haul trucks with shunting trains , will clear up %80 of traffic issues and long haul trains need more platforms so they not waiting to go into same one for 4 lines

The problem with trains in Miami is the waiting to full load. the more often they move, even if empty, the more the planks trains from Salem can deliver planks and improve overall production. Same goes for trains on Salem waiting for full load

also wouldn't hurt to add extra locos to long trains since they can barely move when loaded

You should try to utilize trains for any distribution of goods between any cities, and utilize trucks only for the distribution inside the cities from the train station. Because if you use the highways for your own trucks, you'll have to deal with traffic that will just get worse. Trains on the other hand do not stop for any traffic. Even the smallest line with a small train will give you more money than any trucks for the same distance.

23:15 if you notice when you hover over the crossover it highlights, if you click on it you can convert it into a double slip switch which will allow trains to switch lines

20:32 you clicked on them twice (logs > Planks and not Plants > Train), that's why it was platforms 3 and 4 and that's why they are queuing up at 49:46

For a series in the future maybe think about doing a set map, They have good ones for like Scotland or Australia

Need to do some expansions on the train lines add a new line to get three lanes or at or at 4 lines need to expand them out more extend the lines

I agree with you on that. I believe there should be a 4 track line for the good's line, and the plank's line could use an express lane in the 4 track line.

You probably will ignore this, but...to help out with those ongoing truck traffic jams you NEED to use bus lanes....that way those trucks can bypass regular traffic...use it to Your advantage
