I think what it was tied to: The section where he does three rapid, consecutive jumps vertically, where its a buzzy beattle, to Yoshi dismount to, buzzy beetle shell jump. It seemed he got janked when he hit the very first buzzy beetle too low. He needed to be getting that first hit sooner so he can propel higher. Could be easily wrong, but that's this backseat gamer's opinion.

As a fellow backseat-andy I have to agree that the jump height seems to be what does it for some reason. Things not on screen dont have a hitbox or something spawns late would be my guesses. Distance to the wall could also affect stuff spawning on the right, but Im too lazy to rewind the tapes to check. Pretty impossible to figure this stuff out while playing, atleast without doing extensive test runs to see how screen scrolls and height works, which would be annoying. Edit2: idk what does it... a good looking high jump flubbed as well towards the end of the video

But it has to be something in that area, because it would occur even from the reset door, which is basically immediately where those jumps take place that I mentioned.

I wanna say he was supposed to do a tiny double hop off the koopa shell, because it was a similar indicator to the big shell he had to do that to. Then he'd get through quicker before bjr does anything. I don't know if that would actually work mechanically though

Think I figured it out: the mechanism that moves BJR out the way is a spike block to the left and a note block below. What's supposed to happen is he flies towards the player, hits the spike block and then after a moment hits the note block, and that sends him to the tiny opening where he's out of the way. But the problem is that it's ultra precise, and that if he hits the note block first or he hits the spike and note block at the same time, he gets sent at a slightly different angle, missing the opening and sticking around to ruin everything. The reason jumping higher is important is because you want him to hit the spike block first, and the higher you are the more likely he is to fly into it. He flies towards the player long enough that you actually have a lot of time to affect his movement before he hits the spike block and "autopilot" kicks in, so to speak. Which... yeah, probably not great for a level like this

Erythrism basically means to have red pigmentation and is thought to also be the cause of red hair in us humans. But why are pink grasshoppers so rare? I'm pretty sure is just because their the creators, they know what to do every moment Then after upload the level, everyone else goes blind We have to learn the level from zero and then practice a lot In games like this and Geometry Dash, a few pixels sooner or later makes a lot of difference, specially with an enemy that spawns and moves depending on how far or close the player is from the spawn point and elevation, is not just something random

Did BJR even serve a purpose in the level? Seemed to me it only worked when he was bounced out of the way and did nothing, meaning he's just a random RNG obstacle that ruins attempts. ETA: Ah, he throws one (1) greenshell that you need. Definitely could've just used a canon or put literally anything else to bounce off of

I think the BJR moves toward you so if you kind of mess up the last jump by jumping earlier or later he will move differently and not hit the spike and go up and get stuck up. So i think thats why he hits you.
