FYI, that band is a powerhouse. All of them are distinguished musicians in the PH's professional scene, I was there that night, as a drummer and a musician for 17 years, I still cannot fathom how these people achieve this level of musicality. They're just too good.

That event was (if I remember correctly) a festival in Bacolod city a couple of years back, I was somewhere in the left side, drunk lol. Some videos you would see different drummers play for KZ, Michael Alba (Rickson's teacher) initially played for KZ when she was growing big here in the PH. You can also watch their practice sessions which are jawdropping ngl.

Rickson Ruiz is one of the "premiere" drummers in the PH. Playing for most of the big artists here in the PH and is not being credited enough. The bassist there is Karel Honasan, a Berklee Graduate and is the MD for most big artists as well in the PH and probably is responsible for most of the arrangements of the biggest hits in the PH.

There are so many great drummers coming up the ranks, in particular from Asia. Both male and female, Japan's Yoyoka, The Philippine's 10 yr old Isiah from Missioned Souls all the way up to Gavin Harrison. This drummer in the clip is just another example of great skills, especially his dynamics and finesse.

I've already met and talked to one of the Filipino cover bands a while back when in South at Bui Vien Street, truly enjoyed the vibes there. Now I'm currently freezing here in North. lol.
