Still another LOW WIND day, but at least it was blowing 10-12 mph so there was somewhat of a drift. Still not brisk enough to float the flats burning the spoon, so we sought out individual pods of fish targeting them with lighter soft plastic lures in a more subdued presentation. ... Of course, .. the Redfish weren't chill at all!! This one guy came at me with an attitude and tried to take my rod out my hand!! Yeah that didnt end will for him. The nerve of the guy! #AMFishingLures

SHALLOWTRAPPER actually neither. He uses a carolina rig to keep it from floating. I believe he uses a half ounce sinker

Pretty much, and stay reeling slowly picking up the slack floating up to it. He says you can feel the Reds pick it up, its a trip!

Great video! I have a quick question, when using AM lures what kind of retrieve do you use?

We do drift fishing so I use a 1/8 oz weedless hook and I dont let it sit too long between jerks, I try to keep it moving and keep it off the bottom. If theres heavy wind and were moving faster, then Ill use a 1/4 oz and jig faster. I try and match my presentations to the wind and current, less wind/current - slower, more wind/current - faster.

Its happened more often with the spoon. Much more aggressive too
