When she toured the UK after Nazareth had the hit with this she actually started her set by saying that she was going to start with a Nazareth song. Funny (and very talented) lady. Have heard her say she loved it but I know some Joni Mitchell fans hate it. Nazareth knew how to do a cover and make a song sound like an original of theirs. I still love them to this day

+Niclas Johansson Sadly, I was young and didn't realize at the time what an opportunity I had to be around such great aircraft like this and the Douglas A-3. Youth is wasted on the young! :) I had the opportunity to fly as part of the EC-121 crew back in the early '70's, but after a few flights I decided against it and just continued as ground crew. I just didn't realize at the time what a great opportunity this was.

Wow seriously cool video. I love flight sims and I love this song, but it would never have occurred to me to do what you have done. I like how you timed the "up go the flaps, down go the wheels" with actual footage of the landing gear being used for landing. Nice touches like that show dedication to the craft. Well done!!!

Great shots of the famous Constellation. I can tell ME42000 is a plane guy. I used to watch it land and take off all the time. At the end of their passenger career they turned them into freight carriers. It was very interesting to watch a fully loaded plane use full length of the runway. The Wright engines with the long blue flame comming from the exhaust was spectacular..They always made to the air....It was breathtaking. To be pilot in those day took nerves of steel....

@BeyondNeptune That's the antenna. The older radio systems weren't that powerful and required longer antennas to get the signal out. It was strung to the tail of the aircraft so that it could stay the same length without getting in the way of other parts.

I landed here because of the song. Some trivia: Constellation has turbo compound engines to improve efficiency and if I remember correctly the crew can add oil to the engines during flight (if there's a leak).
