If endless collabs is what the metaverse is forcing into Fortnite, then one of them needs to go. Either make Fortnite a generic combat game with no identity or lore of its own, or make collabs a special, rare, celebratory occasion that adds to an existing title.

They hate on every season and after they look back at it they say "oh man this season was so underrated " ect ect. These mfs constantly expect perfection. And nothing less like if any of those old seasons were. This community is flooded with so much negativity it's sad. To the point people are already shitting on next season despite knowing zero about it.. Getting upset at skins people are assuming are battlepass. No one can be happy anymore.

People complain because they want to be a part of the community and epic games makes things worse or not good enough which makes people mad that they are wasting their time and making them not wanting to play the game anymore. If i like something and i spend most of the time on it and if i find something that is frustrating i will start to complain until it gets fixed and if it will not be fixed i ll become a hater of that thing until i forget about it and the emotions will fade away. And if i play something that i dont like because of an update its a very big issue. Making the game worse even unintentionally and wont make it as it should be is the worst thing devs can do.

I feel like they should have kept the collabs for later but added some more boss POIs and bosses, so that the middle of the map wouldn’t be dead. They could have reintroduced bows and the Hunter’s Cloak with Artemis and a trident mythic with Poseidon, but instead they put them as NPCs in Reckless and Lavish, which are dead POIs because of the lack of loot

I was just waiting for the classic mythological soap opera and it begun fine with we the mortals against all the gods but suddenly it was clear that it was Zeus against everyone else and lose all the fun, and then Avatar and Star Wars took control and we ended the less mythological mythological season. I was waiting for more gods and powers than just the ones from the BP, and it seems they were there but they didn't put them in game.

Im actually a huge fan of Greek mythology so it was a pity I didn't enjoy it. This is the first season since the release of the game that I didnt finish the battlepass, I like the skins but I honestly cba playing this game. 😅😅

Alex ACE I totally agree with you it started of being good 👍 the locations were good 👍 the bosses were amazing 🤩 but when avatar and Star Wars came along it didn’t feel like Greek mythology season the whole point of a season is the theme and what epic games did made some awful decisions removing rarities and season mythics the whole point of a season is the theme

My main issue was that after the Midas event, they just gave up on the Greek theme and started focusing on non-related collabs instead of the season itself. Greek mythology is not something you go small with, so imagine if they did a Hercules or God of War event. I miss when they made collab skins fit into the actual story like the DC skins during the Primal season, but at least the Nike collab was Greek themed even though it sucked. I did enjoy the season until the Avatar event so overall, it's a good season with missed potential.

My rating is between 6 and 7 probably more 6, because the season was great, I liked the new POI and the powers, but I still hate the weapons, the mods and the bullet drop. Except the new biomes the rest of the map felt empty... But my main problem is that I couldn't enjoyed it, since last chapter my matchmaking is horrible probably because I surpassed account level 5000. I don't have the Battle Lab option to explore the map (which is one of the things I love), replay mode was totally bugged for me 2 updates ago and stopped keeping track of life and shield then other of my sources of fun which is editing storytelling videos jump off the window, collabs changed the main theme of the season, other of my enjoyments that it is creating presets to roleplay in matches is hell with the actual locker and 6 months and counting since they said they will fix it... It really requires a great effort for me to play the BR and usually I play STW, creative or any other mode for fun if possible. We still have the Fortnite Night but some weeks we just play LEGO instead BR because we are feed up of being used as bait for aggressive competitive players. Epic is leaving behind the BR and it is taking away to other modes what we found fun in it, like events, secret quests, storylines, funny objects... Everything feels like any other generic BR trying to do it so balanced and so realistic, and I have the feeling I playing other videogame, other I would not choose to play because I don't enjoy them as Call of Duty, PUBG or Warzone.

I’m not gonna lie when they didn’t release Hermes it really pissed me off out of all the Greek skins Hermes was the one that I wanted I would literally stay up 3 AM when the Fortnite update will drop to see the leaks they could’ve at least added Hermes in the last update for this season but instead we only got one Greek skin for the last update Titan

Weapon variety? Nobody used anything but the gatekeeper, burst smg Nemesis AR and or the sniper lol when it comes to actual weapons. With that being said this season was honestly pretty solid. It wasn’t perfect but still pretty solid. So much better than the embarrassment last season was which was nothing but a Black Ops 2 Quickscoping SIMULATOR basically lol🤣🤣🤣 this season was a solid 7.5 for me.

A couple things that disappoint me each season is the lack of creativity in locations, the battlepass, and loot pool. I feel like they are just making guns to make guns, ya know? An when it comes to like collaborations, I would legit be hoenst, I would get rid of ALL collaborations if it meant we could have fortnite original skins again. We get a few here and there but it is weak and thrown together poorly. An I can say that one in every like 5 new fortnite original skins are ALRIGHT. But with all said, I hope epic, which now a days I see as just money hungry, can fix the lack of creativity. Loved the vid Alex, can't wait to see your review on next season!

Skins sucked, collab skin in battle pass instead of a skin that fits the theme, map had pretty much 2 changes (the underworld theme and the Olympus theme) lackluster story, almost no updates, Roblox had better communication than fortnite, Fortnite hit inflation after deflating in chapter 2, rare to see new original skins, avatar mythics either sucked or were overpowered, wings had such a big hitbox This season was just a failed experiment and I’m starting to think Fortnite hasn’t really cared since Donald mustard left 5/10

I feel like this season had so much potential but it was pretty mid not as bad as last season its just the locations where basically making out in each corner the myrgics where ok the weapons where mid nothing brand new besides like 3 guns and the other where just old guns with attachments and truthfully the skins this season where pretty mid the whole bunch of gods they could have made like hermes hercules athena and more couldve gotten in but instead we get bug camer person every day civillian and a guy who looks like cranidos from Pokémon i feel like it wouldve been better if they used there brain for 6 seconds the thunderbolts felt string for the first week after that they felt like using a wet paper towel especially since people can just snipe you really easily the medallions where really good tho just the locations could've been better bosses felt weak really hoping next season we get good things going on in hyped because the fallout collab and i love fallout but this is all just my personal opinion take it as you will but i personally give this season a 5.4/10

I was very excited for this season, everyone was saying it had potential to be one of the best seasons. What really ruined it for me is the collabs and not enough greek mythology related stuff. Personally would rate it a 6/10. Next season looks like it could be similar to this season. Cool for a week with the monster jam stuff but then it dies out. At the moment I’ve stopped playing the game because its so boring and dry.

Actual great season. 8/10 Always some objectives to do. 1st getting medallions, 2nd forecast towers, 3rd getting weapon bunkers, 4th loot island. Each medallion gives different power. Decent movement items. Decent weapon pool. Would be perfect if they added vaults containing mythic weapons and if one medallion wasnt best by far (Cerberus). Also add rocket/explosive weapons, please 😭
