Mahogany is great on you. I like that I have 2 best options and then I kind of have 2 other acceptable options. When my summer color fades 16-Mahogany will be perfect. I can almost wear it now but right now I am almost 2 shades darker than normal because I just came back from the Bahamas not that long ago and I was there for almost a full week. Right now due to my summer glow 16.7-Warm Mahogany is best match but in about a month or so I'll be back to 16-Mahogany. I can kind of pull off 17-Cappuccino as an alternative summer shade but it drys down to an ever-so-slightly olive golden undertone and if I wanted to add a little bronze on top of my summer color I think could rock 17.5-Sienna. 2 NYX sales reps and also my sister thought Sienna was too dark for even my summer color though. But I didn't hate it.

Mahogany is supposed to have a slightly pink undertone...not neutral. I'd say it's more like a slightly rosy side of neutral. In my experience at least on my skin tone neutral usually runs mildly gray or slightly on the golden side. It's rare to find an evenly balanced neutral that's neither too red or too golden or gray. I am lucky to have 2 different full NYX stores in my area. One is 4 miles away from me and the other is about 16 miles away. Going into a full NYX store is a different & fun experience if you have one near you.
