I also want to note something real quick: Back when Police Infinity first came out, we were like 16 years old and very naive which also showed in our behaviour, in the past years we've grown a lot (also thanks to you, because we wanted to prove you wrong about how the game was just going to be another trash product that's abandoned). And now we're taking all that experience we've gained and put it into a new game :) I think it's understandable that after 5+ years you want to move on to something new.

@omniscient xt It's the internet. You're going to get trashed whether you want to or not. People need to stop trying to make games that will compete with games that have 80 million dollar budgets when they know they can't. You can wave the "we're just a few people with no money" flag as much as you want, but that won't stop people from comparing your game to those larger, AAA games. I feel sorry for these developers over the next 4-5 years as AAA games are drifting into 200-300 million dollar territory, using advanced photogrammetry to produce. There will be no competing at all soon. Every thing they release will be considered mediocre, at least from a visualization perspective.

You should revisit Hunt: Showdown, been over like a year since you played it last and the devs have tirelessly worked to add new content like a new map and boss and tons of guns, different UI and progression, lighting, performance, etc. I think you’d be pleasantly surprised with it

Last time I played Osiris I got earraped by a sound bug. Was literally so loud I'm surprised I didnt get hearing damage. I uninstalled and havent touched the game since. Lucky I got gifted the game so no money wasted.

I feel like your criticism on Vengeance was exaggerated, these cod-style shooters were very popular in 2008-2013 and now they've kinda disappeared to BRs and highly competitive FPS games, a simple cod-style shooter like that might be the best way to go without competiting with the big AAA games of the moment

One of the main reasons they disappeared was because people realised you weren't going to dethrone COD by making a game just like COD. Hell, if EA couldn't do it with their reboot of Medal of Honor then nobody could. His criticism is very valid in that sense.

A lot of people are definitely tired of FPS's that are either BRs or CS:GO clones, but they also don't want to play boring old CoD. I think there really is an untold demand for a unique shooter that has the simplistic game mode of CoD but is less casual and more deep.

Fry, I came into your content a few months back and it was fun watching you roast terrible indie games, but I look to you for covering games that have a lot of potential to be good. I enjoy your content that covers bad games, but I also love the side that wants to cover indie games and give them a bigger audience so that that the development may increase if it rises in popularity. I understand that you are not bad guy when you talk about games being bad. You just have a lot of passion for games especially indie ones and you want the devs to get their shit together and improve their game, or start over again and take it slow to actually make a good game. YO! BigFry loved the video explaining about some games that had potential but never put the effort in to fix problems or even keep up to date with the gaming community who played them. Nice to see someone's taking the time to revisit old games, I for one have seen lots of games that ended up not making it to the release date due to small errors that never got fixed or they didn't want to fix it because they thought it was fine. And to the comments about your attitude or you trash talking certain games or even roasting the game (it's what you do as a KZbinr which I think is great I laughed myself) so keep doing you. Update from the future regarding Osiris: New Dawn Ratings are back up to mixed, dev is posting updates again with bug fixes and adding new functionality including, according to the steam updates part of the store page, adding a whole new layer to the maps having underground areas. The game is still in EA, but from what I can tell, they're actually doing something with it now, it's possible that they were hit by Covid or something, couldn't tell you, didn't buy it, but the updates started back up in November. It doesn't seem like they're addressing why the radio silence, but, since they started, it looks like they've been very very very active in updating the game and keeping players in the loop. If I were to fathom a guess as an alternative to Covid, I'd assume that trying to push for a 1.0 choked them up and they hit a snag and realized it wasn't ready for 1.0 yet and instead of making a bunch more promises that'd just piss people off, they pulled a Hello Games and buckled down, sorting stuff out like working remotely, getting priorities down and doing a rework to problematic systems. Now, granted, it'd have been great for the player base to know that they weren't just pulling a "We got paid so buh bye!" like so many other devs have done/do with games in that very same genre, but, just figured I'd bring this up because, if I'm honest, I'm probably going to buy the game and give it a go since they're consistently updating the experimental and main builds; sounds like they're on task to change that turd of total silence into a full on garden.

Im telling you my favorite gamemode for any battle royale has always been the Halloween event for apex legends where its starts off BR, but when a player dies they respawn as a Shadow and attack the remaining players down to 10 where it turns into a 10 man team with an extraction point you have to defend from the Shadows

Vengeance is literally built off the assets of the remake from Medal of Honor. The map is even built the same and even has the same everything to it with the reload animations.

I remember a game that was so incredible in beta called war rock I believe and it was like a counter strike shooter but I liked it way better me and my brother played all the time then beat was over I think the game changed but the game definitely did it was anus and literally everyone stopped playing immediately it died but the beta was actually SO good we couldn't put it down, never played a game like that ever before or after where the beta was light years better and killed the release because of it.

I agree with you completely here on the topic of Vengeance. I'm a Call of Duty and occasional Squad player. I don't want this game, because while it does appear to be a solid game, it has nothing to offer me. But if they make it into a quality tactical co-op police shooter I'll be buying it because there's nothing like that out there and I want there to be.

There has been this weird trend some years back where people suddenly adopted the mentality that you absoluely can't criticize anything. Like saying you dislike something was something unspeakable, something to be ashamed of. It luckily started to fade away shortly after it emerged, didn't last for very long but it drove me up the freaking wall. Anyway, the reason I'm saying that is because I sometimes specifically look for KZbinrs who roast shitty games. I like it, it's entertaining to watch and sometimes, it can even help spread the awarenes of some shady business or simply warn people to save their money.
