Little Elm, Texas is an awesome spot! It’s situated extremely close to Frisco, and it’s right on the lake, making this a very desirable community. There’s also a good variety of home styles and price points to look at here in Little Elm, too, which is really surprising considering all the great things that are available to residents here. Let’s take a look at it today!
First, let’s start out with the food. There are some AWESOME food places in Little Elm that you’ve got to check out. The Hula Hut is one of those, and it’s located right on the water. It’s a great place to look out on the water and enjoy something to eat or drink after a long day on the water. There’s lots more, but that’s one I highlight and talk about in this video, so definitely a spot to check out in Little Elm.
The housing here is the star of the show today, and it’s pretty amazing. The homes are large with a low price per square foot in many areas, and again - right off of the lake! The homes we highlighted today had lots of great features, like a pool, being right on the golf course, and having good access to the lake within a few minutes. And even though we had to cut our “live” home tours a little short because of the rain, I’ll also show you some AMAZING luxury homes at the end of the video via the MLS, so be sure to stick around until the end.

As someone who lived in the Oak Point/Little Elm area from 2007-2010, I can certainly tell you that the area has exploded. When I lived there the population of LE was only around 21,000 and Oak Point was less than 1,000. My next door neighbor was a science teacher at Little Elm and we spent many a Friday night under the lights at Lobo Stadium watching games. US 380 was a literal ghost town back then but we were back to the area last summer and was absolutely shocked at how bad the traffic was then. Oh one thing you forgot to mention, that in general traffic lights in Texas are horizontal, that was a bit of an adjustment from the vertical ones where I come from. Favorite places for us, Villa Grande for fantastic Mexican food and Rustic Furniture Depot for all of your western decor needs. To your point about bugs, having a pest control company on retainer is a must in that area (shout out to Hansen Pest Control.. best in the biz). We loved our time there and are looking forward to moving back to somewhere in Texas in the future. Great content that does take me back to my second home.

Bro, you make dope videos and I really enjoy your channel. I want to move to DFW, specifically the Frisco, Plano, The Colony, and Little Elm area. I am most likely going to rent an apartment. I'm from KC, MO where the average rent is $1,300 for a 1 bedroom/studio. Would you say that is the average for that area of the metroplex?

Was thinking about moving to Anna but now you got me thinking about here. Never been to Little elm though. Does it have a lot of old homes there? Was looking for an area that looked somewhat new but not to expensive.

Definitely look at Lil elm and also check out The Colony. It’s all in the same area close to Frisco. Even check out NE Carrollton. It really comes down to your budget.
