❤❤Whats the point with the gel block if we cant really see how the shots are affecting it ?! . you need to put the block in the light and put a blacked out board down one side of it and then film the block close enough to see the projectile enter and leave the block if its powerfull enough to go thru ,,,i mean you almost have a good quality review yet im sure your channel will grow if you get this part of your review a lot more visual appealing.good work overall i think you will get this better over time with maybe a little change here and there .thanks again for your time .

@@damienthomas6655 Some finagling will need to be done for it to be done in the sunlight. With direct sun, its much harder to see whats going on in the block. Maybe some blacked out panels will get rid of all the reflection. This isnt going fast enough or carrying enough energy to do more than just leave a trail where it passed through. The cavitation is pretty much non-existent with my gear, there probably is a small bubble, but with my camera its no where near the frame rate to capture it. While the cavitation isnt considerable, the gel still shows how far it penetrates soft tissue.

Come on man, FX is not just any pellets.. You should look up FX airguns if you review air rifles.. But it's nice to see that even someone that has no idea still notice the difference, so it's not just a gimmick. If you want to be amazed of what the pinnacle of air rifle technology can achieve, contact FX and I'm sure they will provide you with a test rifle. They are the koeningsegg of air rifles
@erikbongnilsson2463 ай бұрын
I don't have a clue what they do or how to their pellets, but it's the same with their rifles as well, I've seen precision sniping and long range competitions with FX impact. If im not mistaken I think the impact was the rifle used by many winners of large competitions. I think I saw it outperform even .22 long rifle groupings. Sub 1/2MOA at 100 meters under perfect conditions using FX own pellets. It probably was an indoor test though. But I known FX is the only air rifles that even takes into account the harmonics of the barrel itself, as if it were a "real" rifle. I don't know if other brands have taken after by now but anyways, they are fantastic creations. I would love for you to get a hold of an Impact, or perhaps a Crown or something to try out. You can get them in large calibers, but I think it would be more impressive to try a small caliber like .22 and put the focus it's amazing precision by using it as a long range sniper. I would suggest placing out Paintballs all over the yard to act as heads. Someone of you caliber could easily warm up at 50 yards. Don't forget to calculate the relative distance if it were a real head. It's about 10:1 so 50 yard shot = 500 yards IRL :D I bet you could get a "1000 yard" hit without much trouble.. Happy sniping! Btw Paintballs makes a satisfying smack when bulls eyed

I'm honestly shocked how easily those pellets smoke through a 2x4😮. This might not ba a big game air rifle, but it's definitely a huge bang for your $ and the fun factor is totally worth the price. I'm not an air guns guy. It wasxmy favorite posession as a kud b4 I got my first rifle and then hangun in grade school and Jr. Highschool(I'm from West Virginia, so that's normal😊) and there's something calling me to get into the PCP game. I have owned so many guns and swapped and traded for others, and I've even gone through the process to get a class 3/C and when you realize the price to get into a fullly automatic firearm and feed the pig, it's not really feasible unless you're very well off or sponsored. You also put yourself under the magnifying glass of the ATF. This is a way to have a TON OF FUN at a fraction of the price, and there's an air gun for literally every firesrms nitch there is. I'm honestly afraid to buy my first serious PCP because I'm likely going to be addicted, and there's no rehab for pocket knives, firearms, cars, motorcycles, or...these things that I'm aware of. I really don't need a new addiction😂. Guess it beats drugs. Hey 🤷

@@RecycledSoul haha you are smart to be afraid of getting involved. People find it hard to dive in because of needing a compressor. When I started off I bought a big unit to fill with since I knew I was going to really get into it from the beginning. I spent 1400 on a compressor but thats nothing when you buy 15 different airguns in 2 years lol! Be sure to grab a good filter if you go down this path, very important for the long haul. My 25 Blitz really likes the H&N Field Target Trophy pellets and the FX Hybrid slugs. They are built with think assembly grease for break in. If you start having trouble, clean the entire action of grease and replace with hand rubbed Royal Purple 10w50. Important: Use only a JIS #2 screwdriver for the case screws or you'll strip them out the first time you open it up. There's thread locker everywhere. I ported mine and added an Altaros regulator and plenum, then a 700cc 310 bar tank, a DonnyFL Ronin with extension and a PARD DS3570 night scope. I also have the Terminador moderator. I prefer it. Stock spring. Tip: Hatsan is great about support. I keep extra breech seals and valve pins on hand. Pins are $10 and yes, you will break one. You'll blow out breech seals, too. IT'S WORTH IT.

When you say topping it off with air is it a nitrogen canister. How does the air system work in one of these things
@toxicmatrix13373 ай бұрын
@@ls1chevy2 Its a compressed air cylinder, it would be mostly nitrogen in my case. I fill at home with an HPA compressor, so its just sucking in whatevers in the air. You could technically fill off a cylinder filled with a specific gas, helium for instance.

@toxicmatrix13373 ай бұрын
My guess is the valve isnt opening up all the way. After I filmed this, I noticed I had excess pressure in my cylinder after firing 2 full mags. Usually its lower, so I am assuming the hammer isnt hitting as hard as it used to. Probably just need to adjust the spring tension. The barrels on these are spotless, the only time I had lead build up so far was from oversized slugs.

@@g_dub I broke my Blitz and its been slower since it came back. Im pretty sure its the hammer spring, I am getting better efficiency than I should be. I took mine off relatively quick after I bought the Blitz. I never use barrel bands unless the barrel droops, I'd much rather have the free floating barrel. When you grip the cylinder or rest on it, its moving the barrel.

Looks like you got at least twice what I've seen.
@toxicmatrix13372 ай бұрын
I definitely can't say for certain that it will damage it, just something to be mindful of. Hatsan had a warning somewhere saying to not use moderators on this, I think it was on their website or maybe even in the manual. Ive seen other blitz gel tests that achieved similar penetration, I use a 10% block.

Full auto is hard on all air rifles, that's why most companies only put in on their flag ship models. Cheap and full-auto don't mix. The Hatzan Blitz seems to fair better than most tho
@toxicmatrix13373 ай бұрын
@@g_dub Full-auto is pretty rare, I think the issue comes down to getting things to feed, cycle properly. Semi-auto is expensive and can get jammed up easy. Even when you have semi-auto, sometimes the manufacturers say to not rapid fire it. Hatsan could upgrade the internals with better quality parts for probably not much more and it would be so much better.

Have you ever tried using pellet lube, it makes a big difference
@toxicmatrix13373 ай бұрын
I dont use lube. My concern with the velocity drop was that it should be getting higher FPS. Makes me question if something is wrong internally if it wasnt the chronograph.
@living-wellon-less56693 ай бұрын
@@toxicmatrix1337 I agree it should perform up to spec but production tolerances are not the same as the completely hand built products they get their specs from. It is a common practice from all manufacturers (I retired from GM so I have a little experience in manufacturing) to cherry pick the ones they present to the public! If you go to an auto show to see new production models they were all cherry picked and gone over with a fine tooth comb! Several times I was selected to help prep cars headed to the auto shows and every time we had to refit panels, doors, fenders, hoods, trunk lids, interior parts to make it look as perfect as possible! That is the most likely cause your tests didn't meet factory specs! I have several air rifles and they all under performed factory specs until I used pellet lube and now they all over perform. It is something to consider adding to your videos so people can see how they can increase performance from their under performing air rifles, just a suggestion.
