Fun fact, you can collect 119/120 shines. That last one is because, if I remember correctly, there is a single blue coin you cant collect without hovering.

i read a blog post abt it and they said there are 4 unobtainable blue coins, which iirc are prolly the few you find in the sea of mare under noki bay, its pretty cool how you can get so many without one of the main mechanics, its just a shame that blue coins are so annoying to get

I know you'll not like it, but the Hover Nozzle you get in the bottle and for the Eel is actually NOT the Hover Nozzle. It's a different Nozzle according to the game. Just like the Rocket Nozzle, if you don't believe me, ask modders lol.
