If a World 2 remake happens and they rework the entire ocean area and remove the sub An idea came that the sub can still be used only in the Megawhale boss fight basically World 2's version of the King Galaxian fight from World 1

This game was so much fun. It was unique and had a great soundtrack and really great boss fights. And it was a bit challenging too. I liked all the distinct biomes and the game kept going on, even after beating Clyde. Your retrospective is spot on though, it's one of those games where I always want to replay it, but then when I replay it I get to "that section" I dread. It would really benefit from a remaster.

I am actually quite amazed that there has not been a remake of this game yet. It is one of the most memorable childhood games and even to this day with the low quality graphics, it's still quite fun.

I never beat this game as a child. I came back to it a few years ago and beat the whole game in one setting. Very fun, would happily buy a remake.

I didn't know Pac-Man World got a remake, looks very different but still, I'm surprised and happy about it, because I used to play frequently as a child but I don't remember ever beating that game, I'm super glad that I have Crash and Spyro remakes, and this one adds to that collection of great nostalgia and fun gameplay with modern graphics, I'm really impressed

I remember playing this at my mom's friend house as a kid. I didn't beat it til 2021 after finally picking up a copy of it. That was a very long wait. I never played Pac-Man World 1 til the remake dropped. I hope they remake World 2. I wonder why they didn't just remake the whole trilogy like Activision did with Crash & Spyro ? It's still weird to me that Bandai Namco chose to only remake World 1 instead of all 3. That would've been better. They should also remake World Rally. Loved that game.

So they need to remake the Water World, make Pinky’s fight a bit harder, and for completionists anything you grab is stored forever so you don’t need to do a perfect run for 100% (replace the pac dots and fruit with colorless versions) And fix the camera

They also need to utilize they common sense and switch Blinky and Clyde's fuckin' names back to da right color ghost man, Clyde is Orange and Blinky is Red if you played da original Pac-Man you will know they got da names mixed up for whatever stupid reason, but yea this game most def deserve a remake.

Legit was expecting this to be announced during Nintendo’s Partner Showcase Direct but ah well. Hopefully soon… I also wish Namco just did both 1 & 2 in one collection tbh

Awesome video! I've been thinking the exact thing since I played Pac-Man World Re-Pac. I played Pac-Man World 2 many years ago and I think I liked it even more than the original Pac-Man World. It definitely deserves a remake! I do agree that it needs a bunch of fixes and design changes to be even better, but I would buy a remake day 1! Man, I remember getting 100% in this game was really difficult! If you value your sanity, don't for everything. Trust me. 😅

Pac-Man World 2 holds a special place in my heart, back in 04 I had to do summer camp but fortunately we had games to play like the original Xbox console and one of the games we had was Pac-Man World 2. It was one of the first games I beat amongst friends lol this game was so fun that I asked for Pac-Man World 3 for my birthday..... one of the worst birthday gifts I have ever received 🤣

if they do remake it i'd love a sort of easier difficulty option like mario vs. donkey kong. 100%ing the original US version of pac-man world 2 is insanity.

I liked Pac Man World 2 but the boss fights are lame. It’s just the ghosts in robots. Also the OST is forgettable. A remake would be the perfect opportunity to fix the problems.

Aren't you also forgetting to mention World 2 has the most BASIC World themes like it's New Super Mario Bros Honestly I would change them a little bit so they can feel different and unique World 1 I honestly think they should use the scrap Frog Pond idea for the Grassy Meadows World 2 I think they should make the Tree Top area a lost Tree Village type theme (You know abandoned Tree house's built in the trees , bridges connecting to house to house , Glowing Mushrooms on the side of the trees or houses , and flowering vines , etc. World 3 I mostly think it should be kept the same it's fine how it is World 4 since it's inside a Volcano I mostly think they should add Mineshaft Support beams , and add different colored Crystals sticking out of the walls , etc. World 5 I mostly think it should be a Underwater Cave or Inside a Underwater Base or something World 6 stays the same Maybe the Remake could use these ideas I thought but I highly doubt
