Drongo, the new caster features are nice! However I think replacing the age indicator with the rank indicator is a mistake. These are almost aways conq 3 player, so we don't get much more info. Additionally the rank doesn't change mid game, while the age does, and because the age is positioned smaller it's hard to see the age at a glance. My suggestion: put the age back in that circle, and move the rank next to the players name. Keep up the good work!! Love your videos

Last time I researched it the player who went 2tc is on par with a 1tc player in terms of ressources spend on army and tech around 5min after the 2nd tc is finished building. He finished the tc at 6:10 and Marinelord pushed in at 11:40 giving him just enough time to be on equal footing. i mean the real economic difference is not that easy to calculate. Rus has the better raw economy with 20% wood, 10% food and so on, they also have gremlin as an additional army value while delhi has free upgrades and 3 sacred sites (which is around 9-10 extra vills but the ressource they are gathering is basically useless for delhi as they can only spend it for scholars (aka extra production) or trade it for other ressources which makes it far less than a 9-10 vill eco boost). But it is good to know the best player have the same struggles als low rank players sometimes. I did this research after I lost a bunch of delhi games against 2tc and found out that Their 2nd Tc eco kicks in right as I get siege engineering. I guess you need to do damage before that time but civs like Rus or China often don't need to leave the safety of their landmark during this time...

Exactly why Rus is so strong on the ladder right now. You do damage on other civs way early on but with Rus having passive eco for food/wood/and gold (dont forget their gold eco from hunt as well as hunting cabins). They also get early kights which forces you to dilute your army with spears and since the bonus wood eco gives rus a ton of archers that negates the spears quickly which means the rus can match your army value. Another thing is the Kremlin with the gremlins is actually better than other landmarks due to that bonus defensive value. Finally, the Rus also have better walls which means they just need to spend wood and yet have almost the same security as a stone wall in feudal because noone in their right mind will send their entire army to siege down a wall to do a quick raid while you are having a direct engagement with the Rus army where as normally ML would have sent 5 ghazi raiders to kill some vils or idle the eco if it were any other civ. Although ML should have pushed with more rams and a bigger army he prematurely attacked too many times and lost the advantage. I think 3 rams is the golden rule.

Delhi has Feudal Sacred Sites with extra income. Every Sacred Site is around 4 vills on gold for a regular civ, 25% more for Delhi. Marinelord with 3 Sacred Sites was far ahead of the opponent in terms of economy, and it took Rus significantly more time to break even than it would against another civ.

@@olegdragora2557 I disagree ML had to build a market to make any use of the gold because the delhi can only use gold on scholars in feudal or trade it with a market which means you are diluting your resources because the market gives you progressively worse exchange over time. I will agree that if he went castle earlier then that bonus gold would be of use. Btw I never say Delhi has a worse eco. I just don't think it is as good as the Rus eco in feudal because that bonus gold can't give you much advantage unless if you can use it strategically

But that passive gold still prolongs the time where Delhi can be ahead in military and have a chance to punish 2nd TC. I disagree with such a high assessment of Rus strength and their strength compared to Delhi. Rus has negative win rate in Conqueror + and negative win rate vs Delhi. Every civ looks broken in isolation.

ML could have forced the issue by sending a spear or two to wall off and protect the sacret site, to force his Opp to stop defending and push out, he gave that up so he put himself on a timer because his opp was on two TC the whole time, these games are unforgiving man

i tried the Delhi the other day on xbox, mi elite upgrades took over 12 minutes, i'm a noob and probably went with wrong landmarks ,was impossible to beat the AI hard , had to switch to inter

Delhi is not a simple civilization to learn even for a more experienced strategists. I'll suggest you to try out other ones. For example, English or Japanese (if you got the DLC). However, Delhi research time could be decreased with you producing additional scholars in mosques. It is easier said than done, but it's completly possible, especially with Dome of Faith LM.

@@Ignismari thanks!, yeah i beat french hard with english without much effort, and yes i do have the dlc since i have game pass and the game is free there i still got a deal for the dlc, but i started playing this year and still have a long way ahead

Delhi has to build Mosques and make Scholars to garrison them in Mosques and increase the speed of researching. The buildings have to be in the Mosques sphere of influence to have improved research speed inside. You have to immediately gather 50 wood with 5 villagers at the start of the game as Delhi and build a Mosque before you continue playing normally.

a bit ambitious of ML to believe he could defeat a Rus defense with a push - Rus has: a ton of wood for archers , the Kremlin + Gremlins ...and Knights (not even mentioning the stronger Eco). Feels like playing for sacred victory is the only way in this matchup.
