This game was a Ravens Classic! When a Ray Lewis-led defense gives up 41 points to a high-flying offense with Matt Hasselbeck, and Shaun Alexander at the helm, plus Seattle holds Jamal Lewis in check for most of the game, you're not supposed to win that game. THEY DID! Anthony Wright just hours before his 2nd child was born had the game of his life! 4 TD passes all to Marcus Robinson. The thing I remember most about that game (Not live because I was only 1, but from having watched this over and over) is the fact that the Seahawks got trolled by REFBALL. And normally we're the ones having to go against the zebras. But that's not why they lost. They had a 4th and Short and didn't get it, they mugged Marcus Robinson on a deep ball that set up Stover to tie the game, and they should never have let Ed Reed block a punt which set up all of the chaos at the end. But still, this is one of those games, that Ravens fans now matter if they were alive or not will always remember. One quote from Scott Garceau the voice of the Ravens at the time sums up this game best. "And the Ravens came back from the dead!"

Anthony Wright led the Ravens to a playoff game. I remember watching this game with my little brother (R.I.P.). I lived in Ridgley’s delight about 2 blocks from the stadium.. I can remember hearing the crowd while watching… they got just as quiet as we were when the Seahawks were kicking the Ravens collective Ass! I remember Marcus Robinson getting 4 tuddy’s and NGL the refs helped out at the end …

As someone who has been a Ravens fan from Day 1 and watched just about every game they've ever played, I don't know how I forgot about this one. What a comeback this was. We never forget about Ray Rice converting a short pass from Flacco on 4th and 29 against the Chargers, leading to a win that kept our playoff hopes alive the year we went on to win the Super Bowl in the 2012 season. But this 4th and 28 play where Anthony Wright's pass was good for 30 yards towards the end of the game is just as impressive and clutch as that other play. It isn't too often a team is down by 10 points with less than two minutes left in regulation and comes back to win it in OT. What a game. And that defense. Guys like Suggs, Lewis, Reed, Boulware. Those were the days.

Unfortunately, there's a bit of a tragic, sad sort of post-script to the Fox NFL play-by-play comment ating team for this 2003 regular-season game: Curt Menefee's partner, Tim Green, got diagnosed with ALS about 2-3 years ago in his mid-late 50's and the brave trials and tribulations he and his family have faced with Green battling ALS. Menefee did a very touching, hopeful yet somber piece on Green and how each of his individual family members are coping with it, from his wife, two daughters and son, IIRC.
