Although this game is a tactical shooter, it feels and looks like a horror game and considering the tragic backstory for development of this game, that makes it 10 times terrifying and since they experienced some extremely stressful stuff, they were able to get the tone right based on their tragic experience for this game. They've made such a good tactical simulator.

M7 used to be a friend of my little brother back in the day, they'd both collab and make animations mods for GTA San Andreas, replacing ped.ifp and just any .ifp files, making anims from 3dsmax and just post them on GTAInside. Happy to know he's making his own game now, best of luck to him and his dev team.

As a Bangladeshi gamer, I have huge respect for the developers of Zero Hour for why they made such a game. The vast majority of the gamers here are super casual and their gaming is mostly limited to a handful of super-mainstream titles like GTA, FIFA, Call of Duty, Free Fire, etc. I mean even Halo is a fairly lesser-known and talked about game here despite its huge impact on the gaming industry. And yet, M7 decided to make a mil-sim/tactical shooter instead of playing it safe by trying to appeal to the casual local market through something like a bland CoD clone mixed with a "Bangladeshi-made game" appeal to make people buy it. Naturally, I have seen many people here talk poorly about Zero Hour with many more ignoring it. But seeing this game have a small cult following overseas is good enough for me since it indicates that this game does indeed have some good things going for it that attracted their attention. In an era where AAA game developers have been getting more and more greedy with their frequent release of low-quality products, I really appreciate small developers like M7 for trying to provide something unique rather than trying to give bland stuff that can sell well. This is without a doubt the very first Bangladeshi game with international quality.

As an Indian Bengali whose family had to migrate to neighbouring India, (the state of West Bengal) and who still has emotions towards my motherland that includes the artificially and cruelly carved out piece of land now called "Bangladesh" my heart broke when I saw the terrorist attack unfold in Bangladesh. I hope their counterterrorism units are better trained and equipped now. I was so proud to hear about the development history of this piece of software. Holey Artisan was our Mumbai attack. After that incident, our police and military CT units have been greatly improved as it exposed our weaknesses. You can see the results in counter-terrorism missions afterwards like Operation Twilight in Sylhet. Not that it changes the fact that our police force is super corrupt.

In the video, Zero Hour was a training tool to help their police force (Bangladesh) who are under equip and lack tool that can help the police force to safely and effectively response to threat. I think PvP part was to train their police with non ai so it isn't really for average FPS players imo.

Everything is beautiful, but why not make a normal rag doll? At bots, the knees do not bend, hang in funny poses, everything is spoiled by a poor-quality rag doll. I hope the developers will finally pay attention to this in the next patches. The game is very good.

Most of the stolen assets don't come from models and more from sound assets they use for the guns. They used to sound obviously stolen back in an earlier build (they ripped sounds from Modern Warfare) but since then, after admitting what they did in a private chat, they have baked them into free use sounds and now pretend as if they never stole anything.
