I was not prepared for the slipping and sign collision, especially from a 2011 Wii game, they just don't make them like they used to. When Lisa hit that sign the first time it was all over for me. Never heard of this game but it's good to know you got some enjoyment out of it playing it for the first time even with some of the jank. Looking forward to the next one.

I've always been curious about this game but never played it. Heard about it in the Smash Bros. Games. But now seeing it for the 1st time, it does look fun and quite silly. I can see why it does look a bit janky. I read up that this game supports Classic Controller without the motion controls so it's something you could give a go if you don't wanna handle the motion controls. Anyway, got a lot of laughs from this from the cut scenes and some of the stunts. I'm glad you got to play it CC! I'll definitely be watching more of this if you decide to play more. love this game, but I do know it's pretty rough and understand why CeCe may have unfulfilled expectations of it (as she tried to parse her impression of it at the end there). To be frank, of the American "Rainfall trio" it is probably the weakest of the lot, with performance issues and probably just trying to punch above it's weight in general. the straightforward "storybook" narrative is so upfront it's funny, kinda bad but very endearing - i'd say it's the biggest draw when it starts opening up about your supporting cast. OST and voice acting is pretty great, no complaints there it's love/hate when it comes to the actual gameplay though - it's a very unorthadox real time battle system, but i do like that the game lets you take manual control of attacks and once Zael's magic system opens properly, it's much more engaging, and of course eventually you get to choose who your party is comprised of, but it never gets too deep. I implore you Cece, please get a WiI classic controller somewhere on the cheap. it makes me think of a mid-PS2-lifespan-RPG that IS trying to do, as i said, more than it's actually capable of. also there's a weird thing where the game insists on repeating exact voice lines at specific triggers (boss exposes it's weak point, walking past an invisible flag, etc.)
