Bruh I’m already BORED in the first 10 minutes. As soon as I started playing this crap we start in space?? Some lady makes some cringe expressions and sends me flying to some world called Solaris 3, then I wake up then suddenly I drown?? Lmao. Then some girls dressed with cosplay in the wild wake me up and start talking all this nonsense I don’t understand and all this extremely weird dialogue and boring story. There’s random dialogue being thrown out there and some of the scenes get automatically skipped, idk man a lot of issues I’m bored and uninstalling rn.

I come from DMC/Souls games/ etc. this game put me to sleep so fast. idk how you guys are getting into it. it floods you with hand holding messages and omg it was such a slog for the 2 hours i played. Edit: I figured out how you guys are getting into it. It's free to play. People will play the worst games if they are free.

It plays similarly to Souls/DMC/Bayonetta/etc, so I'm not exactly sure what version of those games you've been playing XD

@saikoabesu yeah not really. It's like dmc at home. Souls lite. And Bayonetta adjacent. But feels kinda... idk like a knock off of all of those. Like a poor representation. But I get it. It's a free game so people are going to love it for that alone. Ffs the game ask me to "climb a tower without touching it" just so much crap to pad the runtime. The way it does 40 pop ups before it let's you play, then as you get into it you are bombarded by more pop ups. "Look at this, read this, now look at the shop, look at this new character, now back to the shop, also check this out, okay now play... jk let me explain this enemy with a pop up"

Honestly wtf is this game. Not only does Wuthering Waves start with a weak first 2 hours impression, the story is infinitely hard to understand. It’s not for everyone, the dialogue is complex from the beginning, it feels like one of those china knock offs every time they name locations in the english dub. Not only that, but the scenes are so BORING. Yes the combat is good but that doesn’t mean that the whole game is good. It needs so much work. I feel bad for people saying it’s better than other games like Genshin Impact. Right now no gasha beats Genshin. Games like these are made every year, but it’s not like this one is unique, cuz it really isnt, also, Wuthering waves is just such an awkward name for a game tbh. I hope I’m not the first to mention it.

If you want a game that's grindy, has pretty okay story to good story and that can make you feel cool as hell? Go for it!, It's free either way

Since you never played any gacha before try to not spend until you played a couple of months, if you like the game and want to support the dev start spending small monthly stuff. Don't pull for every character, plan you pull for which character that you really like.

I highly recommend you try Genshin first, if it's your first gacha. That way you'll have a baseline for what to expect as far as quality goes, because these other companies are just trying to play catchup and eating Genshin's scraps. This is coming from someone that has been loving Wuwa, but it needs a ton of work to even remotely start competing with Genshin. This poor launch may have cooked their chances already.

I'd recommend starting with Genshin Impact OR Hsr (fyi Hsr has turn based combat). Wuthering waves really isn't the best right now; maybe give it a few months and it might get better and be worth playing.

right now it's around 10 GB on mobile. it will eventually rise up to 20 GB in future since it's OW gacha that gonna require a big size.

Wuthering Waves is a good game so far. All they need to do is optimize the whole game bring it to console and release more characters people want to pull for.

Dont forget how tedious it is to get good echos. Multiple layers of RNG due to the amount of sub stats for echos. That is unless you are happy to roll with just main stats lol.
