if you plan to be (or are fine with) rerolling, you can pull on the limited banner and hope to fail 50/50, while also getting the standard 5* you want at the same time, then get Yinlin when she comes. Depending on my free time, i might go for Calcharo and Verina, then get Yinlin

Hoyo can’t force creators to not cover a game that’s not how contracts work. You can’t force journalists who don’t work for you to not cover something it’s incredibly illegal. This is 100% a genshin clone. The layout is almost exactly the same. The functionality of items like fragile resin and daily max stamina/resin is the same. World level/union level is the same. Menu layouts are strikingly similar. The 2 things that will make this game sink or swim are the story and the gameplay. If the story is rock solid, people will forgive the overtly similar design elements. And if the gameplay is fun af then it’s a solid game. But if the story is boring and the gameplay gets repetitive super fast then it’s gonna die like tower of fantasy. I really do want it to be good. Bc another fun game to play would be nice. And because it might actually push hoyo to improve genshin in some ways. But as of now that’s unlikely.

Do all gacha games just do the same thing? Everything about the progression and gacha mechanics are literally the Genshin/Star Rail model down to every single detail. Oh my god! Hard pity is TEN lower in this game, REVOLUTIONARY!

It's the same no matter what gacha you play but genshin was simplified for a more "baby's first gacha" experience which let them hit mainstream
