Black Canary fought Superman in retaliation and Superman almost killed her, but Dr. Fate intervened and brought her to a universe where she was dead but Green Arrow was alive. He then brought both of them back to this dimension.

Well, I think it's safe to say that this version of Harley is officially my favorite. In the first Injustice, she didn't strike me as that interesting. It only made sense that she acted the way she did, even when the Joker tried to pull the same shit as usual with her. But then the scene regarding her fears came around. She wasn't afraid of the Joker. She was afraid of going back to the life she had when he influenced her actions. She finally came into her own there, and now she has my respect. Doctor Fate. In the IJ universe, Green Arrow was killed by Superman for daring to oppose him. Canary almost died as well when Fate intervened. He picked a universe that was exactly like the New 52's Earth with two exceptions. 1. The Black Canary of that universe had perished previously. 2. Canary and Green Arrow had already had their children. He then healed Canary and took her to this new universe (admittedly against her will, but she became appreciative when she saw Ollie again.) and said that while he knows they'll never be able to replace their lost lovers, hopefully it would one day feel normal. "Hello, pretty bird..." It was legitimately adorable.

To their defense, they made a game that's 100 hours long. While this game doubtful lasts more than 4. So there is a huge difference in the number of facial animations, characters that need their face animated and such. It's always easier to polish these kind of things when your game is completely linear affair and it only takes few hours. Like Uncharted 4 and such. Still it takes A LOT OF time. So there is some perspective for you. :)

To be completely honest I like the design of Injustice 2 Joker, I enjoyed that we got that very Mark Hamil / Alex Ross design in the previous game and I feel, like you said, that this one is a great middle-ground between Heath Ledger and Jared Leto joker and that it's almost a good evolution of the old joker design since were beginning to get more "modern" interpretations of this character. Not to mention this design is also based is lore and makes sense when playing the game, since this is a fear gas hallucination of Harley it makes perfect sense that this Joker would appear as how Harley saw him, he looks very slightly younger and his hair is a bit fuller but he still maintains those sneering, twisted, and dangerous elements found in most jokers. I also adore how they use horror or traumatic imagery when finally introducing him, the entire sequence felt nightmarish and unreal

Her character used to kill children and innocent people. She was never a good person or anti-hero til recently. I dont see why that could be out of character for her in early comics. You're just irrationally angry because one of your favorite characters isnt being shown in a positive light. My original point of concern was, and a still is, that she's always been super smart in every iteration and it insults her intelligence. It's not out of character for her to be both smart and use sex to her advantage, no, but it's both implausible as I mentioned above and it implies that she would be unable to get her degree otherwise. Here after they finished mk1 and talks of next remake scenario is mk vs dc. For sure if anything injustice 3 and Ed boon confirms plans for that game with more mk characters which sets up mk2 with the whole multiversal mortal kombat tournament. Injustice 3 will be multiverse focus with good chance may take place during convergence comic arc. In that comic they feature injustice earth.

So.. I might be missing something so someone fill me in.. How is Green Arrow here? This continues from the same universe and timeline of the first game where they captured Superman at the end right? In the first game, its said that the Green Arrow from this Universe died by the hands of Superman when he tried to reason with him about the whole regime thing. That's why Batman had to pull Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Aquaman and The Flash from their alternate universe to this one. He needed their DNA but Green Arrow was dead and everyone else was on Superman's side. They all went back at the end of the first game so HOW? How Sway??? I mean.. unless this is just a different Green Arrow, similar to the way that there have been different Robins and Flashes(Different person same super hero name). If that's the case then it makes sense(The one here is Oliver Queen, Batman calls him by name 20:40 ). Someone help me out, I'm not well-versed in DC lore.

I don't know anything about the game story, as I've only played Injustice 1 in fight nights with my friends, but I read the comic. After Green Arrow was killed and Superman waged war with the Green Lanterns because he's a cunt, Black Canary was fighting Superman when he became a Yellow Lantern and was about to kill her as she was broadcasting his evil shitty ass shit, but before Superman could kill her, Dr. Fate stepped in and took her to an alternate universe where there was another Oliver Queen where she could live a happy life. I don't remember the events that led up to it, but eventually Dinah and alternate universe Oliver came back to the universe that Superman was terrorizing to help Batman again, which is why Green Arrow's regarded as the "New Guy" in the earlier cutscene. As far as Black Adam teaming up with Wonder Woman and Supes willingly, I think that's one of the alternate universes. Unless he's only teaming up because Supes nearly killed him and went back to force him to help. I haven't really gotten too much into the later part of Injustice/Injustice 2

Ok, so i reached a point in gaming where im pretty feed up with competitive online gaming. I got into fighting games because of SF3rd Strike. Ive roughly played it for 3 years and got pretty decent with it. I want to get into Injustice and Tekken but im so sick of ppl tea bagging and disrespectfulness. Michael Gabriel Couldn't agree more. I play to have fun, or immerse myself into a good story, not to feel insulted or even compared to anyone. I enjoy games for what they are : games. People tend to take things too seriously sometimes or look too much towards the competitive aspect of gaming. It's not for everyone and the heads at Capcom seem to have forgotten that with SF5. Glad they were proven wrong. I hope I2 will sell well even though I'm not a huge Injustice fan. I've been into fighting games for more than 20 years now and I feel this year will be the best so far in regards to fighting games. And Max keep up the good work, love you.
