this is awesome! i gotta try this in combo with my constellations midi plugin! i never tried the random envelope phase before, but i use a similar technique using ableton’s sampler start position for unique chops/grooves

Awesome! :-D You elation growing as the patch came together was only barely outshone by the result itself! Again; awesome :-D Although I have Phaseplant and have done similar things there, that doesn't take away anything from this being a tool and a half in psytrance production, which is my kind of jam. Thanks man.

I use Max MSP to drive variations in Vital, Pigments, LABS. Your nice work is inspiring. I also send the sounds from my Generative Max/MSP patch to physical sound sculptures, kinetics and cymatics intuitive research stuff. I could send you links, i am not good at all with my "on line presence", sorry. How can we link? I am finishing a postdoc, "blabla", i've been experimenting with psychoacoustics, ambient music, i reached it, i do it, and love your approach. Merry Christmas mister. You're the best out there. ... where could i send you my mail, or other channels to communicate, cause i understand and honour the private side of our passions.

Is it possible to also do this using Pigments?
@s1gns0fl1fe25 күн бұрын
You might! Give it a try. Pigments does have a "Phase mod" but I'm not sure if you could modulate it the same way.
@mistral-unizion-music18 күн бұрын
Stepic or Hamony bloom? Which one would be the best arpegiator / sequencer in your opinon? I also saw recently “Eternal Arps” by Pitch Innovations which seemed quite nice...
@s1gns0fl1fe18 күн бұрын
Stepic would be my choice. It's more of a workhorse sequencer with tons of features and modulation. Harmony Bloom is great for more experimental / generative material if that's what you're looking for.
@mistral-unizion-music18 күн бұрын
@@s1gns0fl1fe Thanks for your answer. I will get Stepic. I have Ableton Live 11 but I do not have the Max for Life premium version, just the standard version. I wonder if I can buy Stepic for Live and still benefit from it being able to be inserted as a MIDI effect directly on the actual instrument track instead of routing it to another track like the regular version (this is what I understand how it works from what I read)?
