About Tartaglia's name, since the fatui are inspired by italian carnival masks, they made a reference to an italian pasta type named tagliatelle which is kinda similar to Tartaglia I guess (I don't know how to explain the pronunciation so I will put the google one here, hope it helps "ta-gluh-teh-lee")
