One of my goals this year is the same from last year. I'm chronically ill & started having some different issues back in September. So far, I have received 2 more diagnoses & am waiting on some other test results. Sadly, I have to put my goal on the back burner for now, so that I can learn how to work through these diagnosis & how to live with them. I pray that won't take very long. 😊 🙏🏼

I want to stay alive! I am 56 and not well. I am to tough to not beat this battle! This store started out slow for but you ended up finding some fabulous items.i would have bought all the squirrels also. I bet the person collecting all the squirrels had a great lifetime collecting them all!

I was sorry to have missed you when my family came thru Las Vegas. We did shop at this Goodwill, and Dog Junkies, and The Good Stuff. Bought a few smalls from your store that would fit in my luggage. It’s very fun following you in a store. I learn so much. I enjoy antique shops for which Pennsylvania has several! I’m so glad you didn’t close shop! How can you help me more? I may have purchased somethings worth a lot but don’t know it. I’ve bought several Christmas presents from antique shops that were not antiques. I’d say they are also thrift shops. My mom used to have that squirrel music box! It had another little flocked squirrel with a magnet on the bottom and it would spin around “dancing” as the music played.

The glass globe measures barometric pressure. You put colored water in it and it will move up and down the tube depending on the current barometric pressure.

It looks like there was nothing missing. I think the drip cup is just the bulbous piece at the top of the tube.

I often wonder why so many people say that the holiday is over after Christmas Day comes to an end when there is supposed to be twelve days of Christmas. I guess after the shopping and gift opening is done, that's it. It really is so much about the commercialism.

The Octave, or Eighth Day, is New Year's Day and the Feast of the Circumcision, the day Jesus was circumcised according to the faith. The evening of the last day is Twelfth Night or Epiphany Eve, the next morning being Epiphany. So according to that, the days following Christmas Day are still part of the holiday, which was what I had always thought, but we really never hear anyone refer to this.

What a great trip. Loved it all. My faves are : French cat sign, the duck bookends, the bags of squirrels, all of the cat figurines, may all weeds bunny. Lived it all. My goals are just to be happy, go to Disneyland again, and to see all of the place my favorite thrifters guys stores for myself. My father very very very unexpectedly passed away on December 11th at the age of 58. My husband and I are in the process of opening a Gym as our first brick and mortar business and it’s been A LOT to say the least. Praying that 2024 is a better year.

Someone may have already explained this to you but maybe someone else may need to know but since 40% x $1.00 = $.40. Just round off the cost of your item up to the nearest dollar and then multiply that times $ .40 and deduct that from the cost of the item = your cost. So if something is $4.99 round it up to $5 then do 5 x .$ .40 = $2.00. $5 - 2.00= $3.00 the approximate cost of your item.

The goodwills near me are not as good as they used to be. The departments were all moved around. The framed art used to be in the front of the store and nicely displayed. Now it is in a pile in the back. The wonderful little goodwill boutique is closed. So disappointing.
