It gets things wrong most of the time. It spews out so much text, it will take you most of the day to read it. Ask it for simple jobs to do. A description of something, and it comes out with junk. Google are using people to use it to teach it. Typical Google. It is miles behind ChatGPT. When I got a description of a project I was working on, Google AI could not give me the description. I used ChatGPT, which gave me my description straight away. I then copied this and placed it into Google AI. It was so grateful for the knowledge I had given it, and that just proved my point, Google are using us to teach it.

I regularly use Gemini to do engineering calculations and estimates. On a few occasions it came back with answers that were obviously wrong by orders of magnitude, like it divided instead of multiplied values. It appears better than ChatGPT for these calculations but I don’t entirely trust the results yet.

Remember though, 2.0 is in the Experimental stage. It's still learning and will improve.

Regarding the various comments that ChatGPT is better: I know what you mean, it seems to understand the instructions or the user intent better. And there’s a reason for it - because it has and has had a massive user base providing direct (and indirect) feedback. This feedback can then be utilised in its configuration.

Seems okay, from my tests maps, links, and images do not work, no image generation either. Pay-as-you-go pricing model seems like a confusing and anti-consumer option. Free-tier CANNOT be trusted with real company or personal data as it is actively being used to train the models.

Honestly, I know less popular opinion but….I like copilot best, then again. In my view, meta Ai is slowly taking away number 1 spot in my view. Just because for some reason, copilot doesn't like my internet…combo with a VPN. I don't know if its just me, or its a (actual) issue??? As for google, I just use it as how to spell words. As for ChatGPT….I don't use at all. Maybe if 01 GPT comes to the official copilot app, for free use. Then personally, I might start using GPT 01…to replace meta Ai. In a way, you could just say I am actuated to open free use.😅😎

@@USSleonardo i've used ChatGpt everyday for more than a year. I've tried Genesis including 2.0 several times and can never put up with it because it simply fails cognitively at so many things, from forgetting instructions given, to hallucinating, to just not getting the main idea, problems with common sense, etc. One of my favorite test is the 20 yes/no question game which Genesis fails miserably while ChatGpt is smart enough to win almost every time.
