@@InvisibleFeats That’s not how it works… AI’s are dictated by code. If it’s in the code that say for instance any data that comes from CNN is true, then no matter how much it learns it’s always going to be retarded when it comes to politics. That’s also not as far off as it might seem from how it actually works either. It uses data from the internet, written and gathered by humans to “learn”. Humans are biased, therefore AI by definition will be just as biased as the humans it’s getting data from and/or writing its code. There’s no way around it.

The brief reference to the Horizon scandal only scratches the surface of how horrific it was. A computer program (non-AI) falsely detected anomalies and the Post Office management uncritically assumed they indicated theft. The organisational hierarchy was so committed to this that when (quite soon) evidence started to show these were false indicators, managers trying to protect their own careers covered this up and continued prosecuting people they knew were innocent... for 20 more years. I fear that AI will open the door to more of this, and will be harder to audit and uncover mistakes.

Haha yeah look up lavender and how AI is being used to target people in Gaza. It’s so interesting/ baffling to me when we can see how flawed and broken AI is just in social media. People get banned and shadowbanned and Facebook jailed all the time for things that were taken out of context or what not. Imagine when that’s your life. The ai gathers information and without someone approving it launches attacks. That’s why journalists and doctors etc are being targeted. Because AI is assuming they’re affiliated with Hamas if their phones and other things show any contact with any people presumed to be Hamas members. There are so many errors being made and no way for people to defend themselves. No one is being given due process and very few know it’s even happening even though it’s public record

Sorry but a vpn can't protect you from AI gathering data on The Internet. If you use the Internet the you are being tracked. Yes your IP is masked but if you log in to a site, use their cookies or simply share info yourself (like on social platforms), then your data is out there. And also there is fingerprinting which is a common way to infer the identity of a person on the Internet by their behavior. That includes stuff like how you use your mouse, things you're interested in, the times at which you're usually online and so on. Implying that a VPN makes it impossible for automated systems to track you is frankly misinformation. I love your content and this a common misconception - but this needs to stop.

I was asking chatgbt about the movie The English Patient, it got the names of the main characters mixed up, the text to image generator is novel, but it still guesses about a lot of what you imagine to what it produces from a textural description. That part about a pregnant woman getting pregnancy related ads has already happened. I remember years ago, pre-pandemic, a news story about a teenage girl who was pregnant. Before she could tell her dad, he noticed pregnancy and baby supply ads from a local pharmacy were arriving via snail mail. I think it may have been her looking up things using an app from the store or when logged in to their website that let them figure out who she was and where she lived. Modern AI is now much more sophisticated.

No. Thats simply not true, not even in the West. Our governments are primarily concerned with maintaining economic stability in first, and increasing economic power second. Problem IS...I KNOW HOW the electrons move through the circuit and WHY they produce an "output". AI is JUST a high speed indexing search engine with a discernment algo. We do NOT have quantum based hardware and superconductivity for a T1000, YET.

People who are talking about "Person of Interest" are not old enough to remember "Enemy of the State" Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't listening.

The best part of the video is that Nord VPN can keep you safe from AI. 🤖

It can’t. No vpn can truly keep you safe. There are methods (like fingerprinting) that can still determine your identity even with a really good vpn. And even a good vpn company will eventually have to bend to the wishes of the authorities and the rich

@thesilentgod7863 Exactly. The only use of VPNs, in my opinion, is unlocking content in different countries plus a layer of simple security.

Phone needs cases that cover the microphone and camera. Heck, maybe just make them faraday cages so they lose reception when you put them away.
