It feels so damn inspirational. Like I always visualize images during the "I got soul, but I'm not a soldier part" chorus, like clips of ppl from all walks of life helping each other and marching on through adversity.

This song is an anthem. I went through a particularly tough time in my life back in the day and put this on repeat and it helped. Great tune with a real emotional edge. Fantastic. Thanks!

I saw them a few years ago at ACL and when they started doing “I got soul but I’m not a soldier” and the whole crowd just belted that part out like some kind of super gospel choir. Oof I got chills.

KILLERS got their name from a great band called NEW ORDER from the song they did called "CRYSTAL" - in the video band drum kit has the word "Killers"/ I would suggest doing the song CRYSTAL by NEW ORDER - a great perfect pop song of its time. Brilliant. And the Killers agreed for their love of the song and the band.

How about a 'First time hearing' Stromae. He appeared on all the late night shows, headlined the second stage at Coachella, was invited to the MET gala, can say Kanye, Madonna, Billie Eillish and Coldplay are fans and doesn't even perform in English, but French!! All his official videos come subtitled on YT and are all epic masterpieces. Stromae puts the A in artist and will leave you needing more. I recommend starting with 'Papaoutai' or 'Formidable' before checking his latest work. You will not regret!!

I've seen the killers in concert multiple times including at several festivals. They are an amazing live band. And this song is typically their closer for the obvious reason that it is a stone cold banger with a nice sing-along part for the audience. There are a couple of live versions of this out on KZbin that you should check out it'll knock your socks off I got soul but I'm not a soldier is just a classic line and fun to sing along to

This song kind of hits me more because I visualize, all the stuff and adversities ppl go through but ppl helping the one's suffering and giving their time and effort too. Like the huminatary aid for ppl in ukraine, some sadly died to provide for people stranded and needing food and crossing over. Like a montage when russia falls and ukraine makes it through and just one of ppl all over. Like a clip of the recovery with ukraine, other adversities all over the world and the "I got soul, but I'm not a soldier" that part just playing with clips of all this. And it just adds power that song. That part is just so powerful to me because of the emotional music to it and I feel message. I feel, it's like "I'm not a literal soldier, but I got soul, I got fight to make it through" We've been through really hard times, but we won't give up. We won't give up on ourself and we will help others suffering to, fight through this together and uplift each other.

You guys should check out the other video to this they made walking down Brick Lane in London. I think you'll prefer that video as its them meeting all the people on the streets as well as including showing them performing on stage. Great song always been my favourite Killers tune.

I'm gonna post the three part song story about "Jenny,' Which I think is the girl from the "mr brightside,' song and plays into the name of the band. The story starts out with "Leave the Bourbon on the shelf,' Then "Midnight Show,' and finally "Jenny was a friend of mine."

So many great Killers songs...the entire Hot Fuss and Battle Born albums are FIRE! I'll play those straight through, non-stop, and they never leave my iPod. I definitely enjoy songs off of Sam's Town and Sawdust, but those albums never quite hit me as hard as Hot Fuss and Battle Born for some reason. I need to go back and revisit them.

Good song. They could have done a killer video but had no imagination in this one. Talking about the killers.
@davidjames30802 жыл бұрын
I mean, you must have no imagination if you don't get the video. It's shot out of order, and the numbered boards are for the numbers of the scenes. Put them together in order and you get the story. Far from no imagination, they just had too much imagination for the viewers.

The song is "All the Things I've Done" but all the verses are about what he WANTS to do. The character in the song is kind of a coward. He dreams of doing amazing things, but doesn't have the strength to do them. The lead singer, Brandon, is a huge fan of Elvis. The voices you heard are a choir that used to sing backup for Elvis. The Killers hired them to sing background for the climax of the song.

Although it seems obvious to me, I don't think many people get the point of the video. It's put together out of order. The boards with numbers on are the scene numbers. If you watch it in order of the scene numbers it makes more sense.

Loved the reaction! Would absolutely love to see in your opinion a song and music video that I had the honor of playing a role in, that is, the song “Father, I Have Sinned”, by the new female-fronted metal band from Argentina, Dogma. The combination of the group’s catchy tune, powerful lyrics, and amazing makeup and dressage are sure to be a hit for fans, like me, of Jinjer’s music with their tracks like “Pieces” and “Perennial”. It would be an honor to spread the good word of Dogma and to spread their message during these times of social issues and discourse concerning the issues of women’s rights and the abortion debate in the United States. I will link the song below, and I hope to bring more exposure to this fantastic metal group! Thank you for your time and consideration, and I wish you all the best in your future reaction content! Keep up the good work! Grand Rock Describes the Song: As a nun represents abstinence and repression, Dogma champions unbridled desire and freedom, with theatricality as timeless as Kiss or Alice Cooper, and music as timely as The Pretty Reckless or In This Moment, Dogma subverts all expectations with delicious vocal hooks, conceptually driven storytelling, and hard-charging heavy metal/hard rock anthems armed with big riffs and rhythm.
