My dad is my favorite guitar player of all time, even when I couldn't hear him play. He went away too soon, I was 6. Now 10 years later my mom decided to follow him... I pray and play for them

I'm sorry you've lost them both. My mom died about 10 years ago. I still think about her at the strangest times. When I lose dad, it's going to be pretty tough. Prayers for you and yours, and like Dan B said, we will see them again one day.

My condolences, the loss of loved ones is one of those tragic milestones in life that you are never ready for - Mom passed in 1984 around my 19th birthday and Dad in 1994, wife passed this year. Time helps heal the wounds of their end of life on this earth. Keep good memories in mind and be thankful for the time you did have with them (sad for the people that it happens to when they are very young).

Who is a self tau get /musician both on 6 string / bass and also a brilliant drummer he is shy band inmcredebly shy ,... yet his hi end blearning capabi Lait y is fantastic io have gi ven him ball my. We did get together and jam. When he showed up he gifted me Gibson Les Paul Standard. He was able to visit for a few days. We played, talked gear & shared music. Great times. Since then, in a sad twist of fate, he had an accident with a table saw and can't play anymore. That was the only chance we had to play our guitars together, but it is a great memory that I am thankful to have.

Favorite: Tommy Emmanuel Reason: He seems to put an unmatchable amount of feeling into his playing. The music he plays really makes you feel like you’re experiencing something rather than just listening to music. It’s really something else

Favorite guitarist: George Harrison. He was a perfect fit fo the Beatles, and everything he did afterwards was phenomenal. Not to mention that he never relet the fame get to him, he always stayed a wholesome person which is really important when you’re someone people idolize, especially in an industry full of inflated egos

Also favourite player would be Jimmy Page, he is literally a GOD who can do anything from blues, folk, rock, psychedelic, country, alternate tuning. Chris Buck is kind of mediocre but he would be a lot better if he would just learn a few new tricks and stop overusing all his old ones. What I mean is, he sounds ok but he just plays the same fucking thing every time

Favorite Guitar Player: Terry Kath To say that Terry Kath is a great guitar player is an understatement. His work with Chicago during his tenure with the band is unparalleled in the world of guitar. He truly was an innovator, and the world could really use his talents once more. I mean, if Jimi Hendrix says that Terry’s better than him, you know he’s good. Not to mention his Ray Charles-esque singing voice. He truly was amazing

Steve Howe has to be my favourite. He can play pretty much any style masterfully and with so much taste. Especially love his way of playing fast, but still keeping the feel and melody (like a prog rock Les Paul)
