before you unlock a flash hider you can use a medium range sight with a reddot on top and only use the reddot. That way the muzzle flash isn't an issue either.

once people stop jerking off to ttk there are some of the most absurd guns out there atm. It feels like bullet velocity + acc are the next most important stats after ttk followed by horizontal. The aug for example is the best gun stat wise in everything but ttk and ads (which funny enough is only beaten by the sg at 0.14, being the best ads in the game lmao) The game has a lot of really good meta guns and even the "op" atm doesn't feel too overbearing, just the vector being too easy to use which is the issue, not the ttk itself honestly Quick edit: Long barrel due to the acc boost and bullet velocity boost is likely the best barrel in the game for people who can control recoil. There just isn't enough downsides with it lol.

4:32. In RL, the longer the barrel, the more powder gets burned up in the barrel, the less flash. The AUG and Sig 550 should have a little less flash than the shorter barrels, not more.

Something people don't consider is the aim down time. The slightly higher TTK on this gun does not matter if by the time you already have 2 bullets into your target they're still waiting for their red dot to appear.

What really makes this gun crazy is how fast you can aim down sights with it, for all 1v1 your enemy will still be aiming while you already start firing. Given that player landing first bullet win vast majority of engagements this gun is like cheat code. So yeah, stuff you mentioned make it pretty good, but it's the handling that makes it broken.

It’s not the fastest but it’s super fast and it definitely helps the gun quite a bit, although the only gun that really struggles with ads imo is the ak15 the other assault rifles have good enough aiming speed

When I first unlocked the gun, I, of course, didn't see it as anything remarkable, but the smooth shooting and accuracy makes it really consistent and it ended up being my highest killing gun by miles, and considering that anything damaging below 33.4 has the same shots to kill, you don't lost much in the TTK verse other guns. I say it's a solid option for gun fights that can still do well as a backup DMR at 120-200ms

Yeah the only advantage of like 32 damage is the 4 hit against armor since if you hit one shot on armor before that point you can 5 hit

one thing i haven't seen anyone mention or even care about is the Assault class perks 25% faster reloading speed, 20% aim down speed and 25% faster weapon switching speed. just take the Scar as an example, normal reload is 4 seconds. assault class, B-25 URK grip and quick reload is around 2.5 seconds.

I don't think this weapon is better than AUG. They have the same effective range, but AUG have less BTK than SG550. It's heavy downside to SG550 Recoil of AUG is superior to SG550, period. It allows to use short suppressor instead of flash hider. It's marginally better at CQC but SMGs exists... It's like "Mom, I want AUG. We have AUG at home. AUG at home: SG550"

Bro, it is nonsense to compare those 2 weapons. You get destroyed at closer ranges when you have aug, it is worse for multikills. Slower ads and slow rate of fire. I also dont get that recoil problem. I use long suppressor on sg and beam people with it at all ranges. On gun is good at mid-longer ranges and other is made for aggressive playstyle.

Good for you, I guess. I have completely different experience thought. AUG is better at ranges over 50m. Recoil is a breeze to control. You miss less shots. It's have high enough TTK to be competitive at closer ranges, especially if you land head shots. Mag economy is better with AUG, Idk how weapon with LESS damage per mag is better for multikills. I use AUG fairly aggressively, it good enough for all ranges for 0-150m even usable up to 200m with tap fire. The only rivals of this gun are SMGs and some PDW at ranges in ranges below 50m. But if you fight at whose ranges 100% you should choose SMG or PDW anyway. Maybe I'm just built different, who knows

I absolutely destroy with sg550. It is great for hyper aggressive playstyle. Super quick reload, not many people talking about quick ads. Also it has more mags than m4. My setup is b25, long suppresor, quick mag and slip scope with delta on top of that. Idk, it just works for me so well. Finally gun that I can use instead of ak15.

Love the sg550 cause of the less jankiness of the horizontal recoil, less aim time and reload speed. big drawback is the muzzleflash making you blindfire and get you killed not seeing the enemy after a few milisecond. also love the RoR outro.

I love SG, even got f u sight recently! Although I'm usually running it with medium sight + top or canted red dot and suppressor instead of flash hider (it has very little cons to it, but staying extra covert helps a lot tbh, I noticed being unsuppressed makes it like two times more likely you're getting targeted). It's also great at precision shooting using single fire mode + medium sight, it's so easy to hit 100-150 meters with it

When i first unlocked the sg550 i actually kinda liked it, but i kinda stopped using it once i switched back to the m4, idk man theres just something about the m4 that keeps me comin back and thats why i have more than 3,5k kills on it. But i gues imma have to give the sg550 another try. Also on that Aug video I feel like the Aug is simply put bad, i think the main problem is that it doesnt do enough dmg, 31 is alright, but nothing to write home about. i feel like it should have like 34-36dmg

There is one other facet of the SG550 that doesn't show up on the stats and you'd never think about it in the shooting range, but unconsciously feel it in actual fights. The audio. Both the SG550 and the FAL might have a much larger sound spread, but when fired its a low pitch 'thump' rather than a high pitch 'clap' and this drowned out by all the other explosions, footsteps, etc... going on the in battle. It's hard to notice and even harder to recognize where its coming from spatially, which means you won't necessarily have every person within 100m turning to shoot you the moment you open fire. This is also why I think the P90 is actually omega-OP even compared to the Vector.

muzzle flash imo is really not a problem unless you are using the strikefire/aim comp, as those are semi-scopes and do the weird weapon model obscuring that makes the flash so prominent. With the red dot/reflex I've never had much issue with the SG. This gun is super slept on imo on maps where engagement ranges tend on the medium/long side of things. In cqc you will often lose to m4s and such, but the SG definitely has a niche in the midranges

I don't see it becoming massively meta in the way the Vector is, though. The TTK isn't anything to ride home about, and you don't get a massive magazine. SG is definitely up there as a great example of a solid all rounder assault rifle, but not the must nerf omg so op meta defining menace you make it out to be

For me, its about enemy rather than me. With huge muzzle flash they spot you instantly. Hell, even I just start to shoot muzzle flash even when I don't see player. But with suppressor, it takes them time till they find me. You even light up building so random rpg or c4 can land any second after you shoot.

I’ve found the most success with the honey badger by using attachments that reduce the horizontal recoil stat, once I unlocked the big mag it made the gun so so fun

The FAL btw should be a lot better in single fire, irl it's almost never used full auto and I'm pretty sure they put that into the game, so the recoil is just way more manageble and you can spam shots at about full auto speed. I actually believe the full auto and semi auto have differences, unlike the other guns

I love the SG55- series of guns irl, and was looking forward to unlocking the 550 in Battlebit. I really enjoy this gun, but it does kinda suck that the flash hider is really the only way to run it. I usually pair a gunfighter grip with it because the vertical recoil is already super low and the horizontal is low-key high. It can just beam people at medium range though and you can burst or tap people very well beyond that. Pretty versatile and fun gun though 👍

Been aiming to unlock this since I got a taste for it in the practice range back in June. Have had it unlocked for a week now, and I use it exclusively. It's very reliable. My personal favorite attachment combination was: Strikefire sight B-URK grip short suppressor regular magazine. Found the quick mag to have too much recoil for my liking. Even without the quick-mag I was never caught with my pants down.

It's sad that there are guns gated behind certain attachments (sg/aug with flash reduction or the l86/FAMAS with damage increase for lower ttk) but they are completely worth the initial headache. Im sure there are so many people that gave up before unlocking flash hider and thus the reason it's not picked up often. If you want some more ideas if fun attachments on guns you should check out the FAL's short mag. It makes it the fastest running speed gun in the game! You already talked about the PP19 quick mag which is also so funny how it reduces horizontal recoil.

I complained about this gun in your last tier list video on assault rifles and since using it to attempt to prove you wrong, I totally changed my mind. I am over competitive and am in a clan and looking at w/L ratio as well as k/d and when I look at a teams resources it seems huge to deny helicopters since a good pilot can help your team increase w/L especially in clan battles. Load some squad leads or squad hops on a heli to back cap with a 2s drop off window and a whole game can change. Or fly people out to rally locations to create flanks on center flags I think heli will prove to have high versatility in more ways than just kills

No flash hider reduces horizontal recoil heavily whereas suppressors increase both types of recoil and overall make the guns a lot less accurate, luckily they don’t affect damage or velocity which makes them still solid

Had a feeling you'd make a video on this gun whenever you got to it lol. This was the first gun I hit 1600 kills on. This is why I don't meta chase because people sleep on guns like this. It's worth a shot to go through the pain of leveling the famas get the extended mag, helps with leniency and it's just more kills per mag. It's the next gun I'll be maxing out camo wise after I get done with the G36C (which is ok, but suffers for recoil).

Essentially, you can tell which of your teammates are under fire when looking at the map (press m to open the map in game) because they are greyed out slightly, and you can also tell where they are looking. One think that i wish the devs update is the Level to get the guns... I have 40hrs in the game and not even lvl 70... i mean, if there are some guns better than others (Like Vector) why cant i have it?

The extended range sounds really good, until you play the game and realize that 90+% of the engagements are sub 100m, and anything more is sniper territory. Also when compared to the M4, it has worse stats overall, but the biggest stat is that it has a decent amount more horizontal recoil, which is much harder to control. The intense muzzle flash forces you into either a suppressor or the flash hider, both of which make long range engagements much harder to win, so there goes that range advantage. All that said, it has a crazy fast ADS time and reload time which it sorely needs because the ttk ain't winning you many fights against meta guns. It's a good gun with heavy downsides, which is good balance imo (unlike the vector), but it's definitely not a meta gun. It's close, maybe if the meta guns were nerfed a bit, but it's not quite there.

@@StriderRBLX Damage don't matter anywhere near as much as recoil at longer ranges, and the M4 is a literal laser beam.
