I liked the map, but I have two gripes: 1. The AI was pretty dumb. They wait for you to shoot them. 2. The ammo, you should not have unlimited ammo. It should be limited to make the shots count so it is more challenging. Overall, this map and the second were excellent and I'm looking forward to what they make in the future.

@@sprig6043 That's not a technology issue. Half-Life 2 doesn't have that problem. Well, except when they A.I. messes up in which case, it is a technology issue. As far as I remember, even the Half-Life 1 A.I. had better reaction time & tended to behave like they knew enemies were around when the premise of the situation was that enemies were around. Keep in mind, this guy's walking through a house, firing a gun & being shot at but then he goes to the next room & everyone looks like they were having small talk before he walked in.

Not possible, this game is a mod built on top of half life Alex, a melee aspect wouldn’t work because it would have to integrate with the structure of the characters which is something too technical to work through the steam workshop

The enemies shouldn't instantly drop dead after shooting them 1 time. For sure they have to react depending on the place they were hit (also affecting their movement), but sometimes taking multiple hits until dropping dead. It is natural in a real gunfight to shoot at someone and hit him without armor even 4-5 times until they fall unconscious because of the adrenaline rush. Also, it would be fantastic if you hit the AI, to have a bleed-out timer, again depending on the number and location of wounds so they black out after a while even if you stop hitting them.

@@lcolson3445 The game isn't available on Oculus, it's on Steam. It's called Half-Life Alyx, I recommend playing through Half-Life 1, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode 1 and 2, and Opposing Force and Blue Shift before playing Alyx. All the games take around 1-3 hours to beat in one sitting.

Driving, flying anything and everything is better in vr but you need a beefy machine to play.
