This guy DID it! HYDROPONIC garden in his basement!

This was an amazing video with Matt, who built his hydroponic system in his own basement. Matt is our friend, the engineer who is currently growing strawberries and basil. He has great ideas how to use his system during winter season: to grow other vegetables for the family. Really interesting and educational, hope you are going to enjoy this video! Happy gardening!

@@OlgaCarmody actually it isn't , they just looked into grants and gardening and farming were some , so with the help of volunteers , after school clubs were created ... My husband and I taught the gardening class for couple of years and helped with the farm animals , we donated several animals (chickens , goats ,sheep ) and then helped the kids tend them ! Alot of fun !

The light in the tent is a specially designed grow light that has light wavelengths similar to sunlight. It is very bright and you would not want to stare at it too long. Even still, it needs to be on a longer time than what the plants would see from the sun. I leave my lights on 14 hours.
