After watching the second match, I have an even better understanding of how much I dont understand.

It was all about overextending... especially by UD player. First Grubby overextended and Ud killed his DH then Ud player was greedy and was fighting in Grubbys base full or mws without scrolls... Happy would never do that, he would just retreat, heal up a bit, buy more scrolls and come back and finish him easy, especially if ud had waited Grubby move his main to expo, then the stuffed heroes would get stucked in the middle of the fight and that would be over for Elf. Im just explaining, nevertheless, UD player played very good but Grubby better 💪 GG, So Interesting to watch.

i now realise how much i look for opportunities to concede in my own games. there were many times leading up to and during the penultimate fight where i found myself thinking "in this position i could give up with a clear conscience", but you just refused to die. turning a 10% chance into 30%, 30% to 80% into a win. pure warcraft.

I dont think they dispell debuff but during their animation/transformation they are not "present" like they are not a unit anymore until they touch the ground so he used that to dodge

Him fighting you on the moonwells so much was wild to see, and wildly inefficient trade with no expo, Happy would've definately just started expanding on you midway and wait for you to show up, while keeping a few shades on the nearest mines of yours.

Hey Grub love your videos! I've been enjoying you chase rank #1 for each race. As someone who played WC3 in 2004 (exclusively single player custom games & campaign) . Its great starting competitive ladder play all these years later for the first time. I've been using your videos as reference points for builds and understanding the meta. My favorite has been your Paladin + Rifle build, I use it every time I am Human and its so much fun. Really hope you do an explanation of a fun opener for Night Elf before you reach #1. Whats the trick to Ancient of War creeping? How do you get the AoW so close to the creep camp without drawing aggro? Sometimes i'm further away and they still aggro onto it

I realized in the late game, NE Had the advantage since neither of them expanse, going to trade their respective mine, And when they ran out of money, the NE Tree only needs to move , While the undead, needs to build another mine (I dont know how it works much, since i don't play much, just stating my insights :) )

If the blessing of nature is not explored, then the tree walks very slowly + is vulnerable while it walks. And after it arrives, it takes about another minute until the mine is entwined. The undead just need to cast the cursed earth (which also gives increased HP regen to all your units) and then build a mine with workers. And after that you can immediately protect it by placing ziggurats, which also gives you a limit.

When you started singing the Dexter's Lab song I began to wonder if the opening I knew was in Spanish or un English. Like some of the parts I had no recollection of but I also don't really remember how the song went in Spanish so it might've been only in English? It's been too long. Also damn that second game, gave me war flashbacks from fighting UD air nightmare. Elves really don't have a good answer to that, their anti air is way too frail.

I thought that the UD was for sure the better player in the second game, *BUT* ... he lacked the confidence to close-in the game appropriately, .... ... perhaps out of slight intimidation that he *_IS_** facing GRUBBY* after all... Just needed a bit more decisiveness and would have been an easy win... :P .

Maybe im too noob to understand the pro mastermind, but, why keep making Driads and Bears instead of going for something to counter air like mass Hypos? The moment you first get attacked by mass Gargs, I feel its a good moment to start building a direct counter... But instead go for more driads and then Mountain Giants... and it ended up working ???? Grub in the end won, but my bronze casual mind is still procesing why one decition is better than the other
