That man trying to laugh it out depicts a lot about a conditioned society. Trying to use that as a shield to deflect something he knows is wicked. Also shows how disconnected, people have been made to be, to *"laugh at infants being on a kill floor" *"after also being sexually exploited"* Things that people are proud to condemn. But when that clashes with another kind of strong conditioning (being comfortable with oppressing and trying to even pretend there isn't a holocaust) a less mentally able part of the public like this tries rationalize it, in their limited brain capacity. Unaware of such great hypocrisy but mostly deflecting from addressing something they know is utterly wicked.

Hey Joey, I appreciate your work and videos and all that, but I would honestly like some subtitles or audio-work for the people who are speaking to you. - Because obviously they're not mic'ed and when you're even a bit far away from them they're often quite faint, even when I'm listening on good headphones and all that, while you're actually quite loud in comparison. - So something like manual level-editing, auto-leveling (there's software to do that), perhaps putting another microphone somewhere (like on you, aimed away, or a directional one above the screens or something), could all work. If not subtitles, either baked in or added to KZbin later (cause the auto-generated subtitles do get it wrong on the stuff that's less clear), would work as well. Cause, again, it often sounds too faint, and accents that are a bit too much don't help me as a Dutch person either. It's enough to make me re-listen twice and still not catch it, you know, while I really wanna know what anyone has to say in these conversations. - I know there's probably plenty of production to be done on these videos as it is, but what is said and the interaction is what matters.

barely any debating anymore, people are getting that being vegan is becoming normal and everyone seems pretty receptive
@deckyBWFC913 жыл бұрын
Either that or we just can't be arsed debating any more. I wouldn't try to change a vegan from eating vegan. I think it's great that you care where you food comes from, and you've opened up other people's minds, including meat eaters to some of the horrific things happening in factory farms. The only thing I can't stand about the movement is the constant it's better for the environment to stop eating meat altogether. Not eating animals is unsustainable. That's why we as a human race aren't sustainable, because nothing only illness has the potential to kill us, we are now living longer, adding more pollution, mining more nonrenewable resources from the earth etc. We should cut down on meat consumption, and the feed lot factory farms are what needs to go. But as for grass fed meat production, you cannot argue with it's sustainability and the benefits in which it adds to the environment

What that woman kept saying is so true....we really do need to educate the children more. Most older adults are set in their ways and don't want to change so it's the kids and teens we need to start educating! I leave pamphlets and stickers (free from Viva) around schools and on lamp posts etc near schools....most kids wouldn't want an animal killed. You use to go to schools before Joey like also Gary Yourofsky and David Ramms have done - isn't this something you could do over here?
@Limemill3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but then again empathy doesn't fully develop until late teens, I think? That's why many kids would rip insects' wings and legs off one by one and occasionally make animals suffer without much thought. But maybe with your pamphlets by the time they are done developing empathy, they will have developed it for animals as well as for humans

I have a video from the library I teach at, it's from a dairy farmer. Meant for ages 4-12. It's a dairy propaganda video for kids. They know that kids hold the key to either keeping them alive or destroying them. That's why schools are obligated to have dairy products served before being built. They want to get the kids hooked.
@poweredbyplants2693 жыл бұрын
@@ASMRyouVEGANyet Yeah these poor kids are so brainwashed at an early age - as was most of us. The thing is up until quite recent most people didn't know what suffering the animals went through and even if they did there wasn't much food choices to easily switch....luckily nowadays the internet and social media has so much information out there and plant based foods are absolutely everywhere now and taste absolutely great.... If people know exactly what they are paying for then at least they know whether to choose cruelty free foods or keep paying for animals to be killed on their behalf
