I would use a tree freshener. And that together. But I’m also not tryna break any parts on my car, so I’ll just take his word for it. But I get the room sprays, and spray my car headliner with it, it works pretty good. Except for the initial overwhelming smell, because it’s meant for a whole room, not a tiny space like a car.

Just place one of those dryer fabrics underneath your seat and quit farting in your car then you'll be able to take deep breaths withiut smelling the stink. You're welcome

@@Averagegamer673 bruh I would buy them for 3 dollars at o’reillys when I worked there. Now I get them from rock auto for 6-10. Air fresheners are about that much if you buy the good ones and you have to replace them often.

Why? #1 Just turn on the AC on full blast, set it to fresh air, and spray the vent on the passenger side of the windshield wiper cowl. #2 Set the air to recycle, while the AC is in full blast, spray the passenger side foot well #3 turn your car off, and spray inside the AC vents, leave it off for 10 minutes or so, and your AC will smell good for around 1 week, vs 2 days max spraying the filter, no need to take your car apart, if you want it to smell stronger for the day, just do step #2

Also actually cleaning the interior works wonders. Vacuum! Wash mats. Wipe over everything. Don't carry pizza in car ever, unless it's frozen 😅. His tip is gold, though. Check that filter. Replace if need be.

I do this all the time!!! I use a yankee candle house filter whole home air freshener. Just put it on top of the filter and slide that ouopy back in, and it stays fresh for at least 3 months. I've had mine in 6 months, and it still smells amazing!!! You don't use your car constantly so it lasts a long time!! $5 at any Walmart or online.

Yeah it’s a filter for a reason. You start adding heavy moisture to it you’ll create mould which then will just ruin your whole car

filtering material basically loses a layer of filtration when it gets wet. exactly like k95 masks' inner static-charged sheet but yeah if you want to quickly freshen up your car. this works. but they also have a product made to go on the filter. scent lasts longer, etc

Spray your fresh air vents with Lysol. Located under the hood close to the windshield. Ac on high with the recirculating button off. Roll your windows down. You can buy in cab vent foam from Autozone. Changing the cabin filter with all the above is good to do once a year.

How? If there's alcohol in the solution you spray it will evaporate quickly. Shake it 4 or 5 times and it's gone.

And we can put charcoal cabin filter also and get some fresh filtered air because I feel no fragrance can beat the clean air.😊Simply We can put some dry flowers petals twice a month in a Muslin cloth and keep anywhere in car.

Your problem is not the filter, it’s the evaporator and you just made your problem worse. The evaporator needs to be cleaned chemically and allow the chemicals to drip out the moisture outlet tubing. You adding perfume/fragrance has just contaminated the evaporator even more. It will just get worse.

Yes! Also, change your cabin air filter! They're not terribly expensive and most models can be found at your local walmart or auto store. You can only deodorize musty so many times. I always add a little tree on my filter when I change it. No, it doesn't last forever, but I can smell it for a week or so.

I wonder if a few drops of essential oil would sod as well. I add a few drops to a cotton ball and pop in between my vent slats. Soooo fresh.

Hmmm, 6 months of freshness for $1 with all sorts of options, or hours of it for more than the $0.005 a normal freshener cost for a whole day and the fact you will ruin your filter and have to replace it sooner? I wonder which option is actually useful? 🤔

@@nicolumens3311 No. It's 6 months. They come in packs of 3, and each one lasts 4 weeks -- assuming you can read well enough to use them properly. Very similar to many other air freshener brands for cars.

@@kiraPh1234k I've had them for years.. they do not last 4 weeks each lol maybe a week if you open them slowly like the package suggests. The price is what makes them good, but it's like a plate of hot food. It only smells good close to you. The meguiars car scent bombs make the entirety of your car smell stellar for a week, but the price is high for a small aerosol can.. I'm sure someone else is going to compete with a much cheaper similar product in the market at some point.
